i've never liked feet, up until about a month or two ago. now i'm in barefeet all the time! i almost can't stand to have socks on.
the wierd thing is, when i'm not going barefoot, i'm wearing boots. they're comfortable, but since summer is coming, barefeet is all i'm going to be in. i love it!!

You made a wise decision, to me bare feet makes the best shoes. I'm curious on what prompted you to make a sudden change to a barefoot lifestyle.

i guess it's because it's been getting warmer outside, much too warm for boots.
and also because my inner hippie has just started to emerge.

Somebody tell me what the hell BUNIONS are!?

But yeah. Don't be ashamed. As you can see, everyone has flaws about their feet. They're feet! Just learn to love them like anything else on you. I have kinda big feet and really long toes and they are pretty much flat but I think they're pretty. :)

I know how you feel. I have always loved going barefoot, but my feet are flat and I have bunions on both of them. I use to hide them and was very embarrassed to let anyone see them. However, when I had my high school senior photos taken the photography suggested that I do some photos barefoot, which I did. My family and friends commented on how good the photos looked and commented that they hadn’t seen me barefoot before. After that I started wearing sandals and going barefoot. I have thought of getting a tattoo on my foot to distract from the bunions. Yes, I’m still embarrassed of my feet too, but I love going barefoot and I no longer hide my feet. Good Luck!

Hey Twix, are the pics in your gallery is that of your feet? If they are, they are beautiful! I don't see any evidence of any bunions.

Yes, their mine. Thanks for your nice comment! I’m very shocked about all the positive comments my feet have been getting. My family always told me I was silly to be embarrassed about my feet because they are pretty, but I just thought they were being nice.

Yes, in all truth they are very nice and healthy looking. You should be proud to show them off! I too had the same feelings you did. I was embarrassed to show off my feet even though there was nothing wrong with them, just our negative thoughts about feet in general. Many times it came from parental conditioning, they trained us to always cover our feet when we ventured out in public.

Thanks to a girlfriend, she changed all that for me.

Twix, I agree with Barefoot-boy. You have very nice feet, and shouldn't be ashamed of them in the least. And I don't know if it's just the size of the pictures or not, but like he said I don't see any bunions either...just a mild callus on one of your big toes, which is quite common. Thanks for sharing, and if you take more pics, hope to see you share them with us too!;)

[IMG]Thanks for your nice complements! Maybe I don’t have a bunion, but anyway here's a up-close pic of what I’m talking about. Note my feet are getting a little rugged looking from going barefoot recently, but it’s well worth it.

Hi everyone, sorry I had to take all my pictures down, but a relative spotted them and freaked causing a bunch of trouble between me and my parents. Hope you all were able to save some of them though.

I have gnarly feet. I have psoriasis, so it makes my nails get thick and wavy kinda, but fuck it, they're my feet and they work, so i go barefoot all i can.
