This is a wanted baby and his parents seem to have the emotional, physical, and fiscal resources to give him a nice life. He'll have female relatives, teachers, friends, etc. A family with a wanted child is a blessing; we should all be grateful for such a thing even if we don't agree with homosexuality.

There are cases where mothers die and the father brings children up. That is unfortunate, but not as unfortunate as having two rich queers fuck each other in the ass to celebrate your arrival.

Funny how when its your own kids shit gets real.

This one is a case of surrogacy so I assume no choice in the sex of the child.

But Ricky Martin and others have adopted boys. As a gay male I find this curious, why wouldnt you want girls? They'd be the coolest dressed chicks in high school, and they'd have an easy time of it amongst their friends than a guy would.

One can preach what should be right or wrong till you are blue in the face, but you still have to plan for most of their peers being dickheads.

And I have to concede if I did raise I boy, I'd still push him towards semi-homophobic angry pro football player whose main pastime is "nailing lots of chicks". Even though we know better than anyone parents really have fuck all to do with how you turn out

 

Interesting though isnt it. Cos its not really an orientation issue. Why does the mother figure have to be a chick? Plenty of stay at home dads with Power Suit wives out there. Why the natural assumption that a chick is going to be a better mother figure.

Both Ricky Martin and Charlie Sheen, for different reasons, have experience with a wide range of gals, so probably know chicks better than most chicks do (you do tend to lie to each other a lot).

Ricky Martin would probably make a better mother figure than most chicks (at least he's been on Oprah ) and Charlie Sheen, most gals would scoff at the suggestion of him being a better mother figure than any girl, but I'm sure I could drum up some crack whore mum who would be a worse role model, so he's not bottom of the barrell.

And switcheroonies for Ellen Degeneres and Angelina Jolie as Father Figures, Ellen would shit over a whole lot of deadbeat dads out there, and as for Angelina, we all know who wears the pants in that family

Oddly enough, I know a kid whose mom was a closeted lesbian for years and years and years and didn't come out until HE did. And then I know a guy whose mom was a lesbian...and not only that, but his parents were divorced, so he had the whole two house, two family lifestyle that's become all too common. Yeah...he just graduated college...with a doctorate in law. He's 24 years old. And he just got married. To a WOMAN. Holy fucking shit. Then there's my gay best friend from high school...oh my god, his parents were straight. Straight people have gay kids, gay people have gay kids, it's a fucking game of roulette, it's not a matter of the parents' sexual orientation. God forbid someone other than June and Ward Cleaver want to raise a child, that poor thing might come out as damaged goods. Welcome to the real fucking world, we're ALL damaged goods.
