To save free speech and democracy?

Is this guy insane or simply naive?

I ask... for myself and many others.

Elon Musk is considering charging for “elite” accounts on the platform
the “peasant” accounts will still be free of charge

He's got far more up his sleeve than just his elbow. I wouldn't trust this Daddy's boy genius as far as I could throw him. He has a fiduciary duty to his shareholders and he is being reckless with company money. I mean, he says one dumb thing and the stock loses 10%.

I like how one can ask any question and Elon would answer that sincerely without any judgement.
I don't believe he is good in business, relationships or even plain simple personal balance.
I like Richard Branson, Elon Musk types better than Steve Jobs or Bill Gates.

But the twitter thing... I have no clue what he is doing :)

Just another clever ruse for him to dump zillions in Tesla stock without creating panic. Tesla, the most over valued, overblown stock on the planet. Let's see, they still haven't made a profit. Their product is way over priced for its value, their product is made out of unsustainable materials, their product is made on the premise that there is already enough charging power to go around when there really isn't, sale of their product is based primarily on buyers getting a tax subsidy....oh, and they're led by a crazy billionaire, so get to work.

You said it best. The tech bubble is starting to pop.

Well, I think the Tesla bubble is going to deflate a bit. It's all hype and no numbers, more or less gambling like crypto. Yeah, Elon, you're a smart guy, but you do some fucked up things. Maybe put 10% of your money towards helping people - you'd never miss it.

^^Musk sent out emails that employees have to start putting in a 40 hour week no more remote working ..I’m pretty sure that is what that headline is referring to

Sunrun who developed the battery for the F150 truck that is electric is a stronger battery than the Tesla not sure if there is any affiliation

I am quite interested in the Ford Lightning electric truck way more than Tesla... Probably my next vehicle if all goes well

That Tesla truck is sure one ugly mother.....like a Pontiac Aztec. All in all, in ten years the junkyards will be full of nice electric cars that are worth less than the cost of replacing the "lifetime" battery. Battery chemistries are relatively the same - with the way they are pounding on those batteries - charging or running - nothing is going to last the life of the vehicle, that's just wishful thinking...not to mention there's not enough electricity to go around to charge them....
