Mine runs around 30 per month. Electricity is cheap here. My gas bills were over 100 a month during winter though.

Wow, mine is so much lower than everyone elses....

I guess that's what happens when you just have a tiny two-room apartment. And also, my gas is low because it never gets that cold here. And I don't use any more during the winter than I do in the summer really. I also use energy saving light bulbs and all that.

I live in a house built in 1870 and it gets VERY cold in winter. we end up getting hedonistic and cranking the gas to counteract the freezing cold walls and drafty windows. I'm glad winter only lasts till around April, because otherwise all my money would go to staying warm.

I noticed power was cheap in the northwest and that much of it was hydroelectric. That could explain Christines low bills in northern California.

No matter which way they are explained, I like them :)

It makes up for the fact that I pay way more for gas than any other place in the country :)

Electricity is included in my rent, which is only $235/month for my share. Not bad. It's an old house though, big but old. Gives it character though[IMG].

Damn, that's good. I pay 460 a month and utilities are not included. But that is cheap for around here.

But at least I get to live alone :p
