what was the amount of your last electric bill?
ours was $65.
Mine runs around 30 per month. Electricity is cheap here. My gas bills were over 100 a month during winter though.
My gas and electric is combined, and I pay about $35 a month.
My last one was $75 though because I haven't paid any bills in a while.
Electric bills can be shocking...
we have electric heat and in the winter the bills are OUTRAGOUS..... up to $160 for an APARTMENT.
chrissy....how do you manage to keep yours so low?
My electricty runs about $60 a month and my gas bill about $130 a month.
i guess my electric is avrage
i dont have to pay for gas ...i just pay for the baked beans
damn mine was 85 and that is with me not using it much.
in the winter it was about 130
okay, who sent me this comment wHy Is It AlWAYS about trish
for this post?
Wow, mine is so much lower than everyone elses....
I guess that's what happens when you just have a tiny two-room apartment. And also, my gas is low because it never gets that cold here. And I don't use any more during the winter than I do in the summer really. I also use energy saving light bulbs and all that.
that and it is always different for different areas of the country.
i feckin wish mine was less
I live in a house built in 1870 and it gets VERY cold in winter. we end up getting hedonistic and cranking the gas to counteract the freezing cold walls and drafty windows. I'm glad winter only lasts till around April, because otherwise all my money would go to staying warm.
I noticed power was cheap in the northwest and that much of it was hydroelectric. That could explain Christines low bills in northern California.
No matter which way they are explained, I like them
It makes up for the fact that I pay way more for gas than any other place in the country
my grammys house was built in 1799, it doesnt get cold in there that much though, but she has kept up w/ the maintenance fairly well
For the internet, cable and electric I pay about 110-120. Depends...last month it was 106.
last time I paid an electric bill it was $70
but we had TVs and stereos playing nonstop that month
Electricity is included in my rent, which is only $235/month for my share. Not bad. It's an old house though, big but old. Gives it character though.
Damn, that's good. I pay 460 a month and utilities are not included. But that is cheap for around here.
But at least I get to live alone
