New concrete can turn homes into giant batteries (msn.com)

According to this research, it should be dirt cheap and easy to turn the entire foundation of your home into a giant supercapacitor, using nothing more than a little carbon black. With all the research into carbon technology, and progress with solar power, this is just possibly the first step towards making sustainable housing. Others have been working on environmentally friendly concrete, so it could take awhile to work out all the technology, but the next decade should produce a lot of interesting progress.

They need to build their prototypes and test it out, but adding carbon black would cost a few dollars, and could possibly replace about $10,000.oo worth of batteries. Elon Musk will not be happy. Along with the new solar cells coming out, it could reduce the cost of solar to the point where everyone will be collecting money from the power company.
