Balbus, I'm going to be as honest here as I ever have. I think they are white nationalists to put it very bluntly. That's not meant to be directed at you or the good people of England who don't subscribe to that ideology. It's meant regrettably as a warning to those who continue without regard to proliferate hatred in the world, and from a position of global leadership no less! I believe, and please excuse me if I'm ignorant in this belief, that Britain has a problem with prejudice.
Why do you constantly 'speculate' about this going to hurt the country, you are just so negative man, chill the fuck out and just get on with your life. The celebration is down to the fact for the first time in almost a decade we, as a nation, have a majority government in power so the positive side of me thinks this can only be a good thing in getting things done and moving forward, surely even yourself can see that. I've never been a tory supporter but we just gave to admit they are the best of a very bad bunch, hence why they steamrollered the election.
Ooooh, little miss nasty, seems like your losing your cool there, maybe the lovely kind, caring anti semitic party can let you find the love and peace in the world xx
James Again that is just useless rhetoric if you cannot actually explain why you think this is a good thing for the country You talk of a ‘majority government’ but it only got some 44% of the popular vote but due to a very undemocratic political system they have almost dictatorial powers. Do you understand that? Many of the problems that the UK has today go back to the Tories having such power in the past and using it to bring in neoliberal ‘reforms’ that defunded the NHS and saw an explosion in the demand for food banks and the new lot of Tories are even more neoliberal than the last lot. Do you understand that? LOL just ‘moving forward’ isn’t a good plan if what you are doing is speeding toward a brick wall.
TO REPEAT I’d ask those celebrating this 'win', what do they think they have won - how does this benefit the country and themselves? This Conservative regime and the Brexit it will bring about are going to hurt the country and its people especially in the long term but it seems to me that many leavers either don’t realise that or don’t care. I think some leavers seem actually gleeful if it hurts the so called remoaners (even if it hurts many of them more). Again has any leaver put forward any rationally based reasons for thinking Brexit will be good for the UK? I’ve been in multiple threads involving thousands of post and NOT ONE leavers has been able to explain why Brexit would be a good thing in any rational way. The ‘winners’ can whoop and holla all they want but that hasn’t gone away. Yes of course I’m sad and concerned over the result, of course I’m worried, we are all going to be adversely effected by this, but some more than others, I fear that those celebrating now or the children or grandchildren of those celebrating now are the one that are going to pay the price.
Oh James I love you, this backs me up completely - you can only ‘yawn’ because you have NOTHING of substance to say or to contribute. I mean asked the questions - what do they think you have won - how do you think this will benefit the country? You have nothing, absolutely nothing you can blather some meaningless rhetoric but beyond that zilch And that is the problem with the country people have been so bamboozled that they are blindly and willingly walking toward the cliff edge.
James As I’ve said you’re a grift that just keeps giving But it is not just you that is unable to say why they are supporting this political party and the policies that will do so much harm to ordinary people.
