I'm writing in Ron Paul, even if he doesn't want me to.
So, sorry Ron Paul, I don't play games like that, I will pick the person I think most represents my ideal candidate, and that is you Ron Paul.

Obama. and I think anyone who is voting for McCain either has a lot of money or hasn't read enough into it.

I would say the same for those voting for obama.

You would think with todays availability of information through the internet people would be more informed.

i have a teacher that is primarily democrat and preaches obama during class so me and a friend got fed up with it and researched the election and just started slaming him today in class and had a pretty heated arguement and them practicly the whole class joined our side sept the black girl(so surprise) i view myself as a conservative liberaltarian. its kinda an oxymoron but i think if it doesnt hurt anyone its oke for me yet i dont like socialism but that hurts those who do work so i guess im a liberaltarian

one man doesn't make a difference.. but I'd rather vote for someone who actually has plans/ideas on how to help our country out, rather than someone with vague answers and hardly any plans to change anything.

I don't know. I'm going with Obama. all of his policies, whether he follows through with them or not, are things I agree with. the end.

Bob Barr sucks, and the fact that the libertarian party endorsed him is a travesty. If you're going to throw your vote away (like I did), at least do it for an improvement!

he's a military war hero and has the experience needed to run this country unlike the other child who wants to weasel his way into the white house and then learn as he goes

let's try be impartial for once and list the 2's pros and cons

    John McCain
    Pros:
    -Supports nuclear energy
-Was and hopefully still is against drilling in Alaska
    -Support more drilling in general
-I think would actually cut alot of pork spending as long as congress remains democrats
-Anti corn ethanol, it was awesome him basically telling the Iowa farmers to go fuck themself before the caucus there
-When it's not election season he is willing to work with both parties
    - Believes in campaign finance reform, tired to fix it anyways even if he did a bad job
-Knows foreign affairs and mid east politics
    -Sensible on illegal immigration
-Was once a generally well respected man on both sides who was pretty moderate

    Cons:
    -Sarah Palin
-He's old, hence back to Sarah Palin
-Is not the same McCain that ran in 2000
-Has been saying alot of stupid shit and all of a sudden wants Roe vs Wade overturned and the such, hopefully he just says this because he's desperate to get elected, not because he changed his views overnight
-Would keep us more dependnent on oil
    -Probably wouldn't cut spending
    -Dumb health care plan
-Been in Washington for a long time
    -It's the economy stupid

    Obama:

    Pros:
    -Pro choice
    -Pro internet neutrality
-immigration(it's basically the only thing where Obama, McCain and Bush generally agree and actually have the same concept going)
    -More world respect
-A black man alone is a universe full of change for us
    -Less time in Iraq
    -Highly educated in constitutional law
-Tax breaks more likely to help the middle class
    -Willing to comrpomise
-Pro stem cell, though I believe McCain is too unless that changed too

    Cons:
    -Anti NASA
-Would make the assault ban permanent
-Sometimes too willing to compromise, gotta admit one thing Bush is good at is going "no fuck you this is how it's gonna be"
-More push to federal universal healthcare
    -Support corn ethanol
    -less foreign policy experience
-Would increase the government alot probably
-This civil service stuff, his own website says they'd like to have it so all high school students have to do 40-50 hours of community service
-Taxes in general over the course of 8 years
-he's a muslim and wants to kill your babies

Obama wants to give the opportunity for students to do 100 hours of community service in order to get $4000 toward their college education. that is easily a whole year of community school paid off for me.

if McCain wins, he wants everyone to go about getting health care by their own means, and is giving a $2500 tax credit for individuals to do so. however, anyone with any serious health problems cannot get covered for an entire year under $2500.

Obama is also interested in having more uninsured children eligible for SCHIPs... which I think is important because it's not a child's fault that their parent can't provide them with health insurance.....

    according to U.S. News --

Bottom line. McCain's plan would reduce the number of uninsured by 21.1 million by 2010 and cause a net increase in federal spending of $2.05 trillion between then and 2019, according to a new analysis by the Lewin Group, a healthcare consulting firm. Obama's plan would shrink the uninsured by 26.6 million and cost $1.17 trillion over the same time period, the analysis said.

also Obama has a 16month plan to withdrawl our troops from Iraq, which will begin to save our country roughly $12 million dollars a month.....
