Heylo, because of my parents, I have to move to Madison, WI.
I just heard some few stories about Wisconsin but what's good about WI and bad about WI?

The bad.. it's freakin cold in winter and the snow sucks!

But honestly, Madison is an awesome city.. I lived there for 5 years (2001-2006) and loved it! Its pretty liberal, very progressive, and just all a around a pretty chill city. There is alot to do and some awesome places to hang out. If your into the outdoors, the aboretum is nice, and Olbrich gardens is beautiful (and IIRC the outdoor gardens are free, there is a very minimal charge for the indoor part). The Henry Vilas Zoo is also a really cool little zoo and its FREE! I always enjoyed State Street and Willy Street areas, the Willy St Coop is awesome, and they have the best thrift stores!

    I agree with SativaStarr -

Madison is a GREAT city. I hate driving during rush hour times but otherwise I think it's a great place to live. Very chill. Liberal.

Madison is probably one of the best cities to live in, I mean in Wisconsin. Very progressive city.
