I know, like, gag me with a spoon! haha
And we must be from the same area, or at least related somehow, your name is Mrs.BadassMotherfucker, mine is Ms. Superflybadassbeeyatch! Wow!
    ;)
For the record, I'm a non-preachy veg. You eat meat? Rock on. I hope you feel the same way about vegetarianism. Just live and let live. I'm also large and in charge. I'm not obese, but this thread is ridiculous. And the "PHISH ISN'T OBESE!" just made things dumb. And offensive.
But anyway, please be cutesy somewhere else, or somebody's gonna spew.

I've been laughing my ass off at reactions in this thread from the first post. People take things too seriously and too lightly sometimes. HAHAHAHA.... it went from facts to cheap pot shot insults.

The Law of Assimilation is that "no particle of food may be built into the body by the forces whose task that is until it has overcome by the indwelling Spirit." The Ego must be absolute and undisputed ruler in the body, governing the cells as an autocrat, or they would all go their own ways as they do in decay when the Ego has fled.

The level of the consciousness of the cell determines its power as a unit. The lower its consciousness, the easier it is for the Ego to act as the governing head of the bodily functions. Cells taken into the body also have their individual and collective consciousness. Therefore, the level of their spiritual attainment is a factor to be considered when food is to be used by the organism. The different kingdoms have different vehicles and consequently a different consciousness. The mineral has only its dense body and a consciousness like the deepest trance. It would, therefore, be easiest to subject foods taken directly from the mineral kingdom. Mineral food would remain with us the longest, obviating the necessity of eating so often; but unfortunately we find that the human organism vibrates so rapidly that it is incapable of assimilating the inert mineral directly. Salt and like substances are passed out of the system at once without having been assimilated at all. The air is full of nitrogen which we need to repair waste; we breathe it into our system, yet cannot assimilate it, or any other mineral, till it has first been transmuted in Nature's laboratory and built into the plants. The plants have a dense and a vital body, which enables them to do this work. Their consciousness is as a deep, dreamless sleep. Thus it is easy for the Ego to overpower the vegetable cells and keep them in subjection for a long time, hence the great sustaining power of the vegetable.

    I've got a headaaaaaaaaaaaache.

There is a difference between being hurtful and being offensive. By being offensive sometimes you have a point. Nudity, antiwar protest, rock music, can all offend but it can have a stronger meaning and a point past meaningless 'offensiveness'. However, the posts were just mindless and pointless. Not so much 'offensive' as hurful and downright rude. When you are offensive you can be a revolutionary. When you are hurtful you are just a downright jerk.

If people are offended, that's their problem to begin with. Words can hurt... but I think people overreact too much and take it too personally and if they are offended by things a lot of time they're denying reality and don't really want to deal with it and if they don't that's up to them and not a problem.

Obesity is a hard thing to beat once one is in it, i think. It's sad but some people tend to be obessive, it's in their DNA. THey might eat a little and get fat very fast. Saddening, so you can't just judge them all. The thing with obesity in USA at the moment is also very sad - it just means people(some) have too much of everything.

I liked it. And yeah, sometimes obesity is uncontrolled or a medical condition, but it's a proven fact that consuming animal products makes you fat. You think you can eat flesh and fat and not keep some of that fat in your body? With all the hormones factory farmed animals are pumped with these days, it's not surprising that the amount of obese ppl in North America is growing each year...

Please, don't pity anyone. As that does is show that you are better than they. Which is not always true. Don't pity people, be happy for people. Pitying is also bad because it causes you to focus on the negatives. And how can you be happy if you're focusing on the negatives?

    Just my thoughts.
    -Peace
