Dependa.on how it is made..definitely spiked, definitely not store bought My sister in law had a christmas party last night, she is puerto rican and served coquito which is a puerto rican version of spiked eggnog..it was delicious
I like a little bit of eggnog. It's delicious for a few sips. After that it loses it's appeal. Oddly, I've never had spiked eggnog. Maybe because I can rarely finish a whole glass, so the booze would be largely wasted?
Yay, for eggnog in small amounts at a time.....and I will need to get some now...the next time I go to the store. Thanks for reminding me....
Yay, but only the cheapest store bought stuff for me. Because I'm pretty sure the factory stuff doesn't use real eggs at all. The thought of drinking some homemade raw egg mixture does make me want to hurl. With some golden rum, yes, of course. How else does anyone tolerate Christmas but with rum drinks?
One of my favorite drinks! I loved it so much I started just making my own because I couldn't wait for the holiday season.
If you like eggnog you should try a Tom and Jerry. It's a type of eggnog with brandy and rum added to it and served hot. It's a traditional Christmas drink dating back to the 1800's. We used to buy it premixed, without the alcohol, at a local bakery...only made at Christmas time.
