Ecstasy as Psychedelic?

He does have a way with words though! I love how when I think of mushrooms... I think of something natural and happy and he thinks about killing some girl. Different perspectives I guess.

 

Man, go to wikipedia.org and search for "Eminem's enemies" dude, I read that shit yesterday and people wonder why I think rap is so fucking stupid. These guys have beef over the dumbest dumbest shit, and pull guns on each other at thier shows and shit, can you fuckin imagine like michael kang pulls a gun on robert randolph for soloing when it was his turn or something? wtf hip hop is childish as fuck, just read that article and you'll see what I mean. It's like, who the fuck handed out guns to all these fourteen year olds?

I didn't bother to read all of the thread, so if someone mentioned this already, my bad. You have to consider what the term psychedelic actually means. It can be translated from Latin or Greek as "mind manifesting" or "mind expanding" or something else like that. It has to do with how the chemical acts on your brain.

 

I love MDMA, but I don't consider it a psychdelic. It's mostly a stimulant, sure you get visual affects at a high enough dose, but enough meth will make the carpet crawl. That's quite different from LSD or shrooms.

 

all in all its a pretty nice drug when you are wth people that you love already, so once you love everyone you know its more than the drug.

On the one hand, it's exciting because these people exhibit the very basic instincts of humanity; the ghetto is the modern jungle in it's finest.

On the other hand...it's repetitive and dull. "I fucked your bitch and shot some nigga's up at X/Y/Z, then I fucked some white girls and ate some X!" Jesus, please generate some NEW ideas and die...quickly.

Unfortunately, Viacom (MTV) runs the media these days. Luckily, pirating not only has slowed down the commercialism of the music industry, but it has increased the popularity of the indie music industry.

As far the psychedelic effect goes, like I said earlier...it depends on what form of Ecstasy is consumed. MDMA causes mostly entactogenic (and slight hallucinogenic), as well as empathetic effects, which makes it a narcotic. On the other hand, MDA causes mostly halluicinogenic effects, with the side-effect of entactogenic and empathetic effects, making it a psychedelic.

For the most part, it depends on what form is used and what dose it is used in.

 

ecstacy have a psychedelic side, but i agree it's not the same than on shrooms (never took acid)

 

mescaline is psychedelic

mdma is empathic.

I gotta do it again. I fukt up. Bout a half hour after I atem I puked. They tasted like ass and I tried to kill it with root bear but it just mede it taste like foamy ass. I was high all day but Im shure I didnt get the full effect so I gotta tryem again. I did plenty of acid in my day and I can safly say that I like acid better. It was a good 12 hour trip. Definantly a trip in my pinion. Emphathy, insight and alla that jazz . Not as visual tho and definantly a differant catagory than acid but still what Id call a psycadelic.
