oh, come on! a pirate can out-drink a ninja any day of the week. you ninjas may think you're classy, but you can't hold your liquor.

True, a drunk ninja is a useless ninja. :(

Pirates are all about the rum. Yo ho ho and a bottle of, and all that.

What to pirates have? Captain Morgan's. Or, if you're cheap, Admiral Nelson's. Ninjas own the night. Top that.

Who needs talking parrots when you're an assassin?

They'd just give it away.

Plus most pirates are gay. Not that there's anything wrong with it, no, I have many gay pirate friends.

Ninjas are predominantly heterosexual. Not that there's anything wrong with a gay ninja, it's just that we lose enough ninjas every year from a lack of agility, various ninja diseases, and just plain too-good-of-sneakiness, we can't afford to lose more to shoe sales. [IMG]

I never go anywhere in public alone, except the grocery store, gas station, city hall (ohhhh the water bill...) and work. Yes, I really am that insecure and paranoid.

ha, i'm that paranoid too, except for me it's mostly the other way arround. it's when i'm with someone that i'm the most paranoid. of them.

when i'm alone is when i generaly feel the safest because anonymity is kind of like a security blanket to me. i mean other then it's nice to have someone who knows where i am or started out as a place for backup to start hunting me down if i don't show up somewhere because i've run into unexpected trouble. but really, that's just about almost never happened. and statisticly the familiar is 90% more dangerous then the unknown.

at any rate, i DO like to explore restaurants alone, just like i like to explore alone in general, like riding trains and bussess. the advantages are that you really get to experience the tastes and spiritness of the places, instead of missing half of it by being destracted by social attention.

then again, i grew up pretty much alone in the boonies, i mean real boonies, forested mountains, the nearest towns being less then a thousand people, some of them less then a hundred, and those often a good hefty walk away, and it's in the cities and populated areas that i've never felt entirely safe.

sure critters can be dangerous, if you try to get closer to them then they want you to, but they don't go arround bothering each other the way people do, at least the ones that live very long don't.

That was just to test out the waters. I took myself to Country Kitchen (diner) a couple of years later. It wasn't bad. That's it for me though. I don't think I could handle sitting in a place like Olive Garden by myself.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever eaten in a restaurant alone yet... I've been to movies alone before, though. It isn't too bad. I like going places alone sometimes. :)

I could never figure out why some people can't bring themselves to go out to a restaurant alone....what's the big deal?
I don't need someone to read the menu for me or complain about me taking to long to eat or complain about what I order. So I would much rather go out to eat alone.

If I am out of town alone I'll eat in a resturaunt alone. Other than that I don't like to. I'll go with my mom or a friend if I'm craving sushi or a certain drink. I'm not big on take-out either. I love eating with other people in general, but am an eat and run type of person when I'm alone and never eat meals; just eat when I am hungry...which is bad because I get so hungry I make bad choices

The thing is, many people will think you're sad and look depressed or because you're a loner. There's a lot of people that think like that and boy do I hate that!
