haha jim, we must share a brain or something. fat cats is one of my favorite terms for the corporate swine. and YES. apathy among the masses is exactly what they want. I'm digging the idea of choosing where your tax money goes, but np is right - it ain't going to happen. you think this is some sort of democracy? fuck off you stinking socialist..
Must be some way we can take our government back... Ideas? No bloodshed! I prefer 'dirty pinko hippy'. lol!
Fuck that... I want their bullshit doctors, waiting lines, and hypochondriacs abusing the system to get ever sniffle and cough treated. Why should I, a person that makes a conscious effort every single day to be healthy and not need insurance, have to pay taxes out of my paycheck other people to get sick-care. It's bullshit. If people want to pay a nominal fee for health insurance provided by the gov, then they should be able to let the government manage their life and money. But why should I be forced to buy shitty Obama-care when I flat out don't want it? It's total bullshit. I am 100% libertarian. I think in large Liberals miss the point of freedom. I am the most conservative person I know. I want as little government influence as possible. But I think that mass majoirty of conservatives loose their credibility because they all stand the same on the war, drugs, religion, and abortion which I disagree with. In fact most conservatives today are real conservatives. Conservatives are those that stand by the constitution and the founding fathers to the end. Obama is a pathetic piece of socialist shit that undermines and wants to change the constitution. Sonya Sotomayor is a racist, sexist latino bitch that wants to legislate from the bench....a clear contradiction of the judicial checks and balances. And dude... I agree with 90% of what you say politically. But you repeatedly say dumb shit about people smoking weed...almost with an elitist tone thus making you sound ignorant. (If you can even gather tone through text.) Not necessarily this quote, but other things you have said. I have yet to meet a single person that you describe. And as a conservative, you should definitely stand by the right for people to put whatever in their body they want, as long it doesn't harm others.
Not a bad idea... Maybe then you will get idiot people to stop saying the government should take care of them and they would have more money to take care of themselves.
i agree with just about everything you said here except the parts about obama wasn't going to say any of this though because this wasn't intended as another argument thread iggy:iggy:iggy:
I like to libs all fired up. In all seriousness here, not trying to debate or argue, but(using specificity) what about Obama did I say that you disagree with? If you are libertarian in principle how can you agree with Obama's agenda? It's an oxymoron. He proposes higher taxes, government controlling the private sectors (housing, banks, health care, automotive), more troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, possibility of appointing 21 czars that out ranks his cabinet members, and the list goes on. These are all principles that are held in high regards to libertarians and Obama fails to meet any of them. This ironic enough, one of the only thing I agree with Obama on is his stance on medical cannabis. He is for taxing it and using it as alternative medicine AND for stopping the raids by the feds on the legal clinic across the country... THAT SAID, I still would never give him my vote or support. Not trying to argue at all here, just asking legitimate question for people to ask themselves and give insight back. I think in general people don't even understand what it means to be Republican, Democrat, Liberal, and Libertarian or the major differences between them. And far too many people watch tv giving them a jaded view of reality of what is really going on in the political world. I follow it daily, listen and reading to several sources, but never get political information the TV. I guess that's why I never fell in the Obamamania.
whoa slow down i didnt say i like him or agree with him. i just don't agree with what you said. iggy:iggy:iggy:
I said: In all seriousness here, not trying to debate or argue, but(using specificity) what about Obama did I say that you disagree with? All of the rest of the stuff I said wasn't directed at you, but to anyone that would care to elaborate. I meant to point that out but I am hitting the herb this morning and got ahead of myself. But answer the question in bold if you wouldn't mind...perhaps I am missing something your not. I say this because I too agreed with what you said.
im all for talking politics but personal attacks and cussing about it detract from the real issues i mean, im all for personal attacks and cussing. just not when discussing politics iggy:iggy:iggy: Animal Farm = a book everyone should read
I forgot I said that. Shouldn't have used insulting words like "bitch". I do indeed think is racist and sexist by her own quotes. I don't like her a bit...so I called her bitch. But I should have refrained as it only decreases the credibility of what we say to others. Point taken. I will have to check out that book though.
