He is doing fuck all for familys and i know because im a father and he is doing fuck all for the aboriginals of canada as well the poor, he is trying to introduce mandatory minimums and is introducing bill c-151 which disalows the personal growth use and distrobution of herbal plants making them only accesable to pharmacy's, and you are voting for all that,that doesnt sound like a canada i want to live in bro, sounds like a dictatorship to me.

 

Well I like the Canada we live in.

I prefer the way it is now. Compared to before where someone like my dad who works his ass off everyday and gives 800 dollars off of every paycheck to help people on welfare who are selling drugs on the side.

Its not really a label of smartness or wiseness its just the way the system works. These guys run countries therefore they HAVE to have the experience. You can't expect something for doing not very much and I'd be pissed if a 30 year old ran the country. Even the 16 year old kings had advisors, they were the people who really ran the country.

 

Not to mention the fact he is doing nothing positive for the environment, He's still sending us to war and he is doing not one fucking thing for the health system.

Not every high income person votes Conservative. That is ridiculous. Just because that is what the Conservatives pride themselves on (being there for the rich and the corp) doesn't mean that other high income people aren't in other parties. I can only assume because of Ignatieff's lineage that he comes from much more money that Harper does.

im not even going to respond to most of the points brought up in this argument but i will say this:

i have always thought that those on welfare and recieving unemployment benefits should have to pass a drug test each month when they are issued their check and also randomly.

and i say this as a daily drug user and a hard working tax payer

 

lol, i thought it was only the druggies who used welfare to begin with, im poor but ive never ever been tempted to use welfare, thats for lazy fucks, single moms and people with disabilities, i could never raise a child off government money when i dislike the government in the first place, it would be hypocritical, I work under the table and make 25$ an hour at my job, sorry but no government job paid me that much since i was 15 and lobster fishing, under the table is the way to go.

 

Don't go knocking people on welfare. My husband is on claiming for us both. it We aren't lazy fucks, My husbands field of employment has ground down to a halt and we need the financial help.

 

And you're complaining that the goverment doesn't help it's people? By getting paid under the table you're not contributing to this country financially

 

usually it is. welfare should be for people who have real need of it, not just for lazy people that want to spend their life doing drugs or hanging out at their mom's house or whatever.

i used to live next to a woman that kept having kids so she could get more on her welfare checks. she had 4 kids and was working on #5. she sat around the house all day and got high while her kids played in the yard and her mother cooked them all food.iggy:iggy:iggy:

I know where he's coming from, but it's a very general and uninformed stance.

 

not knocking everyone, just stating the fact most of the people i met claiming were just lazy or buying drugs, i now for a fact there are people that need it, i dont doubt that especially if your hubby's job tanked, but the fact is there are fewer people on welfare that actually need it compared to those using it, myself i just stay away, i like taking care of myself no matter how tough times get.

 

I lived with this musician when I first moved to austin who got on food stamps because he didn't want a regular job, just played clubs and got retarded every night. $150 a month for that fucker because he waited in line for 3 hours.

And your point, if the government would pay me more then they offer maybe i would go above table, like i said im anticapitilist and dont support a system that wont support me, sorry but 9 dollars an hour compared to 25 an hour, considering i have a child to feed id rather live off 25 an hour, maybe if you had a child you would understand, maybe even realise how corrupt harper is.
