What is the easiest way to get all those dead skin cells off your face and body. I often use the friction of rubbing my fingers against my face, and then rubbing my fingers together to get the dirt to fall off. I often do this after the gym or sauna when lots of it seem to have accumulated. But it takes a long time to get it all off.

In the sauna, I find that the dead cells rub off more easily, and of course you'd be surprised how much there would be to come off. This can take a long time too and may long a bit odd rubbing yourself in the sauna!

I remember before, some sales lady in a mall in America was trying to sell me some creams(one for my face, and one for the body) that you could rub on your skin, and it would dissolve with all the dirt and thereby remove it. She demonstrated it on me and even though I was just after a shower, a lot of dirt came off.

Has anyone ever heard of something like this? and might it be bad for your skin because it's so powerful? It $70 for both, and it seemed so much easier than all that rubbing I have to do!! I didn't buy it though because I thought there might have been some home remedy equivalent of this(like sugar and salt), but I wouldn't really be satisfied until I can see that DIRT come off!!!!!

Sodium hydroxide (lye) will turn skin and other organic tissue into a jellylike substance that sloughs off rather easily.

    1/4 cup listerine
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1/2 cup warm water...

soak the feet... after a while the dead skin slides off.
