I have always been anearly riser, but since I quit smoking a month ago, I have been getting up even earlier. On purpose though, I have been practicing my martial arts, qigong and taiji in the mornings. Anyhow, my daughter, who overnight a few months back turned into a complete papa's girl has been getting up a lot earlier than her brother and mama. It has been nice having papa daughter time. She will come down to the basement (which is set up as the practice area) and snuggle up in the chair and watch me, if I'm not finished with my sets when she gets up. If I am already done she will just crawl up in my lap lay her head on my shoulder and just sit there talking to me softly and playing with my goatee.

Do you think she suddenly became such a papa's girl because mama is pregnant again? Not that I am complaining or anything, I love every moment of it. It was litterally overnight though. I went from being the fun guy to hang out with in the evenings after work to I want papa to get my juice and fix my meals and buckle me in ect. When we sleep at night she ignores Jen and wraps her arms around me and snuggles right in. If I wake up or move or anything She half wakes up saying "Papa, papa!" until I snuggle her again. She is such a little sweetheart.

How old is she? Moire goes back and forth and she is 2.5. One day, though, she wakes up and wants nothing but her daddy. And it'll last for days and days.

It might be that Momma is pg again, and it's her way of connecting. Either way, enjoy it. :)

Oh, believe me, I enjoy every second of it. She will be 2 in march. Man, thats next month. They are growing too fast. If you'll excuse me now, I need to go figure out a way to slow down time.

yeah, my younger daughter trades back and forth. not so much with my older daughter. she's a hard core mama's girl. but she'll give her dad a cuddle now and again.
