I don't know if I've seen this since I was however old I was when this was popular. I will watch it after I share it.
I remember my dad pulled me inside to watch this video when I was a kid. He said I'd like it. My mum didn't like it. It was probably a contributing to factor to how I grew up, it was by far the most metal thing I'd heard and I liked it and I liked the rebellion and it paved my life.
As soon as this song starts it takes me back to spending summer days at my cousin's house watching MTV. I didnt have cable so MTV was a rare treat for me when I went over to other people's houses
omg. I never had MTV either. I'm so infatuated with music videos and actually found it hard to understand why they went bye bye. This one takes me back to junior high.
My mind is playing tricks on me, I can't pick a specific music video as my earliest memory but I suppose this will give me an opportunity to post different songs that I remember early on.
I was something like 8yrs old.. pbs wqed pgh aired.. never forget. / later would be the woodstock concert on hbo /maybe 9/10yrs old.. mtv soon matched up..
It's interesting I was discussing them in another thread earlier today, I know I've seen some videos slightly preceding these but I remember these bands being new at the time of seeing these videos. Some of the other bands I'm not quite sure if I saw them when they dropped or just when replayed throughout the years.
^ This music video memory was the 3rd appearance of Alicia Silverstone that catapulted her career. All three songs and videos are music memories for me. The 1st was Aerosmith's "Cryin" The 2nd was Aerosmith's "Amazing" The 3rd "Crazy" Without a little help from Aerosmith, Meliai wouldn't have been able to dress up as Cher this year.
