Well I can take 150 mgs and have a very satisfying experience, but then again I am not a heavyweight by any means. I knwo someone who can take 450 and not feel much at all, and I know people who can take 200 and hallucinate like crazy. I would say test it with 150 mgs and if you don't get anything at all, then go to 300 mgs. As long as you aren't allergic to it and it's ONLY DXM (the most important thing), then 300 wont hurt if you felt nothing at 150 mgs. If you do trip out on 150, then boost it to like 225 the next time. the first time I did it i took 225 mgs not expecting to feel anything, and hallucinated and got triple vision for about 8 hours. It was actually more intense than I would have liked it to be. As for it sitting in the car, it probably traveled to the store you bought it in in a shipping container that was about 100 degrees or more for a few hours at least, so it should be just fine. i did 240mg tonight, and i got this girl i know to try 114mg (the rest of a 4oz bottle). iduno if she liked it though, she just said she felt tired (we were pretty stoned too). i had hella fun tho, watched Austin Powers and played Galaga 88' and some other classics like Dig Dug and Pac Man.

1. the heat won't fuck with it
2. 125mg is a perfect first time dose. you might feel bored, but everyones first time on DXM seems to be pretty intense. I recently did 600mg and I didn't even have double vision, but I have done it alot in the past. My first time i did 711mg and I saw triple.

so i did dxm for the first time last week.. i drank a 4oz bottle of 15mg/5mL over a period of about two hours & i didn't really feel anything till i drank about half of the bottle in one fail swoop at the end & then i only felt like i was drunk/stoned.. no visuals or anything. it was fun while it lasted (it seemed pretty short).. but i expected more. i guess i'll just have to up the dose next time.

 

^ Well next time take it and sit back, don't drink it over 2 hours, because it won't buildup enough to get you high. Try it again, you will probably like it.

i never get open eye visuals when i dex, only closed eye and thats on 3rd plat+ trips which i dont very much like anymore. i just enjoy the body high it gives me on 1-2 plat doses, i can still do ordinary things but they are alot more fun. i dont really think of it as tripping but more of as a drug i do sparingly thats very unique.

 

Amen to that. I got OED's on a 225 dose one time, saw a large, rainbow colored balloon in my friends doorway.

some of the closed eye visuals i used to get on 700mg were ridiculous... 1 trip i literally went to heaven then to hell. i saw 'god' walking towards me under an enormous arch down some steps, he seemed like he was as big as a skyscraper. was 3-4 years ago and i can still remember it, heh.

 

yeah i'm looking forward to a good 3rd plateau trip.. i've never really tripped good on a psychedelic before. i've tripped some on salvia, but it was too short.. i've definitely read some very interesting trip reports

 

unless you weigh like 50 pounds, are hypersensitive, take a ridiculous ammount, or allergic to whatever else is is CCC's, you won't "go into a coma and die".


i've known people who've taken 50+. and had a very good time.

personally i won't go past a box (16 pills), but off that much it won't kill you off.


but then again i don't know each and every one of your bodies chemical make up so i can't say that for sure.

 

This is an understandable post, but please, NEVER say it's good to take coricidin. People DIE from that shit, and while 1 or two won't hurt you, it is definitely not something that people need to think is ok. I'm not trying to rag on specifically you dude, but if people keep OD'ing on CPM, all of the ignorant fucks out there will think that it's the DXM, and then we will all have to wave bye-bye to a fun and valuable drug, and that would really be a shame.

yeah, if you're real dumb and take 50 like i said that person did, you probably will have negative effects.

but if you're tight on cash and don't have any allergies (know your body), popping a box is not that epic.

i'm not trying to tell people to use CCC's, but let the truth be heard. i think with a box you're only taking 4x the reccomended amount of whatever's in there that's deadly.

i don't know. i know my body, i know what i can handle, i'll do what i please. and that includes taking 16 CCCs.

 

ok i drank a 4oz bottle + 1/4 of another 4oz bottle almost an hour ago & i still feel nothing.. is tolerance built pretty quickly w/ dxm?? because i tripped alright for a short time on a 4oz bottle over two hours last week & now w/ a bottle and a quarter i get nothing??

 

should i finish off the second bottle.. i don't really want a 3rd plat trip.. but so far i'm feeling nothing

I never said you can't, i'd never tell you what to do with your body, i'm just saying that only reason anyone ever dies from DXM is when people take it w/ CPM, aka CCC, so condoning their use is just not responsible. CPM is dangerous, and therefore so are CCC's.

but why put ur liver through any more than its already going through. obviously nobodys gonna convince u to not take tripple c's cause ur dead set on thinking their fine, and ur not changing ur mind no matter what those pesky "facts" of their safety compared to normal dxm are. but people robotussin is like 5 bucks for a safer version of the same drug. use ur heads! just cause u dont overdose now doesnt mean ur liver isnt gonna pay for it in the long run. you might be fine, but why risk it

I'll never fuck with Coriciden again. It can be addicting when I was 17 I was doing way too much and then I started to notice what I think was my liver feeling cold even a few days after doing it so immediately stopped. Even worse one of my friends took 16 his first time and he freaked out and his heart stopped in the hospital three times(he survived and is fine now), they had a catheter in his dick and pumped it out so definetaly DONT say 16 is safe. I'm not sure about this but i think the excessive amount of acetominophen in trip c's fucks your insides up too. Bottom line I wont even think about touching Coriciden cough and cold or robotussin or any pharmacy shit with dxm I would pop pure DXM in one pressed pill or whatever though if that ever comes around, but its not very fun anyway the body high can be amazing but the visuals seem more like a dissociative drug then a psychedelic and lack colors it seems to turn colors dull for me
