DXM Hangover... 3 days?

another thing i hate is when someone is talking to me while im on dxm and they have this tone in their voice like they are worried or think im an idiot. then i try to explain that im fine and i come out sounding like a dumbass. on high doses of dxm i usually have really profound thoughts and if i could communicate them verbally, i would sound smart. unfortunately when i try to talk, i sound retarded and tend to enforce some people's idea that dxm just makes you retarded. its really frustrating.

 

IT IS! People think cough syrup and OTC's are retarded and don't bother trying them. And when your tripping on anything you sound retarded.. Even mushrooms.. I can't sound intelligent on mushrooms.. But of course they understand that.. With OTC's the only satisfaction is self satisfaction.. Lol unless you are tripping with someone else.. Its kinda like lucid dreaming and meditating.. People think you are weird for it, but really the only person you have to prove to is yourself with that kinda stuff..

 

I can't even tell you how many time I've tripped in public. It adds a whole new level to the experiance because I love trying to anylize social interactions and the public in general in altered states. You can find a very strange and real perspective on things you never would have thought to notice sober-minded.

 

I've noticed that the first stages of the DXM come-up are very simular to feeling stoned on weed.

 

Lol I have tripped diphenhydramine and acid in public. The acid I was with my cousin, we were having a blunt cruise, went into to taco bell, I remember him telling me to just keep my cool.. But when I walked in there everything was overwhelming, I felt as if, I kinda heard it, but I felt like everything was talking to me at once, and all the english and spanish cultures were like combining, and it just overwhelmed me and I freaked out and said "Sorry, Kyle, I need to go have a smoke, do you have one?" He of course understood and got my food for me, giving me a square.. Acid did way way more than I thought it would.. But it was also weird because I KNEW I was tripping and all that stuff was fake.. But at the same time, I couldn't hear anything but my own voice in my head because all the outside noises were covered by english/spanish whispering noises..

And its true, but the 3 out of 4 times I have done dxm, I was stoned to begin with.. It just makes the hole trip about 10 times better.. Lol I can barely smoke weed in the middle because I feel it coming up my throat.. The puke.. Ew. So I smoke a couple bowls in the beginning, maybe a few hits near and before and around the peak, and while I am coming down(Makes the afterglow positive instead of a dysfunctional mess.. Lol)

 

haha i remember one time i was watching "pulp fiction" while trippin on a sigma or a really strong 4th plateau dose of dxm. my one friend was smoking a bowl and passed me the bowl. 2 hits and i was transferred to another universe. it felt like i was right inside the movie interacting with john travolta and samuel l jackson. it was crazy. my surrounding just became the scenery in the movie.


i find when im om dxm i tend to take really strong hits when i smoke weed. i dont choke either. i assume its the cough suppressant effect of the dxm. even when i smoke cigarettes i tend to take huge drags. a couple of my friends freak out cause i make the cherry glow really bright due to taking such huge drags.

 

LOL I was watching xavier last weekend with one of my friends on 650mg dxm, and I took like 3 hits, and he took three hits, and I don't know if this was a OEV or not but the room was COMPLETELY filled with smoke.. It was a hookah though.. God damn I love that thing.. Lol And lemme tell you, xavier REALLY does bLoW YOuR MI>ND!!!>>

has anyone ever done dxm and camped at the same time? i am interested in it.

 

I've gone camping on shrooms. But the buddy I went with was a paranoid little bitch about it.

 

Why do people even do DXM? I tried it once and couldn't handle the taste so I threw up. I can't imagine people taking it more than once and enjoying it.

 

Mmmmm Taco Bell. Damn, I should have ate breakfast. When the thought of Taco Bell makes your mouth water, you know you must be starving.

 

Seriously taco bell, either you don't want it at all, or you want it so bad you freak out and try to find ways to get it for the rest of the day.. Lol so its okay

 

Lol getting the pills, or making the powder.. Or just mixing it with something.. Get delsym.. That doesn't taste bad at all.. Lol

 

I've never went past 350mg of DXM (I usially only down one bottle of robitussin cough) but out of all my robotrips I've never once gotten sick, i've never puked, i've never had a bad comedown, and ive never been hungover. It's weird too cuz alcohol and painkillers always make me sick and almost never fail.

 

With 700mg and on, I puked but it made no difference.. I couldn't feel myself puking.. =/ Lol I was tripping so hard, my friend was VERY concerned when I puked because he was tripping too, and was jumping around ducking and running around screaming because he though my puking noises were monsters.. He eventually fell down and fell asleep on the floor, it was pitch black when he did this lol I almost lost it too when I was puking.. I remember crying a little from the puke, but ti was those automatic sick tears.. :d

 

And yeah, alcohol leaves me sick and almost puking every time.. Painkillers.. Eh.. Depends.. Lol

 

ye painkillers it dpends, but almost everytime when my tolerance is gone I puke when i get 'high' from them. Then once my tolerance starts building I still get sick feeling but I can hold me vomit.
