I am not a mathemetician or engineer. "anhedral" is irrelevant to me. Gay logic.

Yes and no. I still think you should lay off shit writers.

If I could make dough with art, I would do it, even if the art was bad.

    ahh. thank you.

much of humanity is content in a situation wherein those who do the most, the best, who are the best, are exploited by those who are the best at exploiting.

So much media develops so much time to the problem of the fact that the guy who is the hardest worker can't, and won't be promoted, because it's idiotic for the company (government, whatever) to promote him, because they lose their best worker as a worker.

instead they want the person who is the best gamer, who may well be a shitty worker, but that doesn't matter.

and it's not just that, it's the thousand little lies of democracy, of republics, of every system there is (from TRUE democracy to TRUE anarchy) that exploit each and every one of us.

and our acceptance of these things

and individually? there is no changing it for the whole, because the whole does not wish to change, I fully intend to change it for myself, it is simply time consuming, and will require exploiting others.

I feel less bad about it than I once did.

What I mean by the anhedral thing is that anything brought up that is not part of an individuals readily available knowledge base just isn't worth it for most people unless

    a. they are one of the happy, special few who feel the need to grow
    b. the conversation has reached critical mass, and they are embarrassed by not knowing.

Reminds me of "The Peter Principle", being promoted to the level of one's incompetence, except with a slightly different spin.

The higher your expectations, the less immediate satisfaction. Take the long view, and learn to plod. Hook yourself up to the mule, and plow, plant, and pray. Still, there's no guarantee.

Eventually, something comes of our efforts, if our efforts have focus.

edit: I was a civil service electrician,, worked for the State, and the City. Relatively sheltered from the "real world", but sufficiently so to quench my ambitions. Made it. Coming alive again.

People who are self-employed usually have the best chance at fulfillment, I would say.
