Hello, did it as a kid. Rescued lots of b&w teevs, radios and that stuff from bulk rubbish. That is why I became an engineer . As far as I know this is and was illegal in Germany, because that stuff still belongs to someone. Same with clothes that you put on the street to be collected by the Red Cross. Some time ago a company that empties the dust bins fired one of their workers, because he found a baby buggy in the rubbish and took it home. Courts then decided that it was illegal to take the baby buggy, but the lapse wasn't sufficient enough to fire the worker immediately. Regards Gyro
yeah i hate people that sue for stupid reasons. suing isnt very common over here. People can't get sued as easily. I know a law is coming in now over here that if someone breaks into someones house and gets injured, that they cant sue ?? I dont know when its coming in, but i think its good, it was soooo stupid people being able to sue someone after trying to steal their stuff.. :sunny:
Yeah it's crazy . Laws should be made that make the person suing responsible for all attorney's fees if they lose the said case . Not only theirs , but the defendants as well . This would drastically cut down on frivolous law suits .
You can sue for just about anything. But it is all a matter of time and energy and waiting and the lawyer expense fees you gotta go through. So in the end, a logical person must ask themselves, "is it worth it?"
There was an article on MSN, I think it was yesterday or the day before, that said something about saving veggies that restaurants were going to throw out. Well I couldn't find the article, but I looked for it and found this. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41536265/ns/business-oil_and_energy/ It's about a company in Boston that uses recycled technology to make clothing. Automobile interior companies could use this technology to make seat covers and upholstery. Very very cool.
Tell me about it. I got the cops called on me in Little Rock for taking a white box out of the trash. I ate it right in front of them.
