Self-aggrandizement aside, I'm proud that I managed to fit everything I felt relevant into 2 pages. I don't know whether the first trip "broke the seal" and there was a flood of ideas I wanted to type, or whether I had more to say of the first trip because I had been out and about doing stuff, so there was more to associate the experience with, and to assist in conceptualizing it into written word. But uh...I had this thought that stemmed from this second experience. It's not anything that was instilled directly into me by the Source, or something I put any degree of certainty behind. It's probably not original (but nothing we come up with truly is...) As a disclaimer, I don't necessarily believe that we maintain our individuality throughout other realms of existence, and if we do it's probably similar to shapeshifter's adept comparison of our distinctiveness being just about as significant as the different numbers in all of our IP addresses online; but I don't reject the doctrine, and I have lots of reason to believe that we do maintain some shred of identity as we drift along the sea of eternity, no matter what homogenous soup we ultimately are otherwise. I'm sure even the atoms that we perceive in the microscopic world have some kind of unique signatures to each one of them; during an existential transition period, whether those signatures would get reassembled into something unrecognizable but still have a preserved element of the former state, I can't say. Anyway, assuming that we do repeat this type of existence again and again, with something gained and retained from the previous life, I wonder about something that I cannot get my mind around nor fully appreciate....perhaps some of us, in terms of the eternal soul, have been around longer than others. It's hard to even suggest it, because saying "being around longer than others" is an attempt of measuring, and measurement and concept have no meaning or application to the eternities. But if it were somehow the case, if somehow souls were born in a similar sense to a human baby being born, it would explain something to me. People have different abilities that are equal in value or greatness, but perhaps we all have varying degrees of innate awareness, of an ethereal gift of remembrance. A remembrance of previous lives and worlds and of their characteristics, repeating in some fashion in the current life, provoking very subtle but indelible "reminders" on the person concerning the best way to be, regardless of cultural prescriptions. Compare it to deja vu, but even more vague and at the same time much more sensible to the person. This minority of souls might have a propensity to understand one another easily, often without spoken word. This type of person might be threatening to older humans, who feel superior due to more temporal exposure to this life, but less exposure to universal lives, and thus has less of the ineffable power of being "reminded." (even of course a thirteen-year-old who has greater eternal remembrance than that of a self-assured twenty-six year old). Perhaps as we get cycled through another set of existences, more and more of us will "remember" what has already been the case forever, by whatever means that is...pure chance, a merit system, being a product of enough randomly selected environments, idk. Maybe we just come back as other forms in this existence, or maybe everthing all starts over as one and we're reconstituted as the same yet different, or perhaps both. Maybe....maybe eventually enough of the "rememberers" will abound and spread the remembrance, facilitating what I would call a uniting of spirit that could be described as becoming a conscious One, rather than the unconscious One that we currently are. I could compare it to the cyclical/vortex model, of repeating the same cycle over and over but with each revolution, there is a narrower space between the cycle, and the speed of the subject quickens, and eventually it is concentrated into one at the bottom of the vortex. It is that concentration that represents what I mean by the conscious One; the material was the same throughout the whole vortex, but was concentrated and illuminated when it hit the bottom, when it was compressed into a tightly bound unit of oneness that was chaotic and confused and detached from itself while revolving down the vortex. It was always the same stuff, but was perfected and refined when it reached the bottom of the vortex. This unfathomable phenomenon happens on a personal level and at a collective level, and all levels IMO. **** love you all. i'm becoming more tolerant with more of my previous hangups about others. I didn't realize I could be more tolerant, but these trips show you yourself in an undiluted light. I'm even more accepting of my stubbornly conservative parents. I"m always more willing to speak of my spiritual philosophies with them than they are with me, and they tend to want to end the discussion as soon as possible. Called mom on mother's day; she matter-of-factly said I sounded like a hindu. I took it as an enormous complement.
I posted this speculation before: ^^I'm becoming more convinced of this doctrine. I was reading a discussion page about the 2012 prophecies and this stranger spoke what I've experienced and believe much better than I could say it. I'm putting the link to the page I refer to: http://aphroditeastrology.com/2007/05/web-bot-project-and-2012.html
Very interesting. In the artickle you gave the link to, they were mentioning 13 Crystal Skulls. Did you ever read about them? Check this: http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=268720&page=2&pp=10 That book is almost like a Bible to me and played a big role in my development. I would be very interested what you would say after reading that book. Its 15 USD anyway, very worth buying it! Oh yes, even newest Indiana Jones was inspired by theese skulls. There was also one very interesting thread, talking about similar things: http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=270350&page=3&pp=10
thanks, shifter. Good reading in both those threads. The second one I'll have to take my time with. I figured there was just as lofty topics discussed outside hipforums, but it surprises me how broadly subscribed to these philosophies are. It's not like religions where there is a philosphy and then it's taught to others then they accept it, it's more like people who are honest with themselves look deeply into these matters and often come to the same conclusions, but on their own respectively. I became an Eastern thinker just by by own open observations, not being aware of how ancient and ubiquitous the philosophies are.
