I have never like Duff's wings. That is because I am partial to my father's wings. He owns a pizzeria in Buffalo. No wings compare. The Anchor Bar, in Buffalo, is suppose to have great wings. They were ok. That was 10 years or so ago. If ever in the Middleport, NY, area, Pony's Irish Pub (was called Mr. Ed's back in the 90's when I would go there) has really good wings. I recall many pitchers of beer, and lots of wings when my friends and I would go. I have been reduced to getting wings from Buffalo Wild Wings as I no longer live in the Buffalo area. I don't order them much. My younger son, on the other hand, he loves wings!
people like to feel important, so if they haven't done anything worth mentioning themselves, they try to pretend they've stumbled upon some amazing business that only locals like them are aware of. in most cases, these businesses are good at what they do, but that generally means their food is marginally better than the chain version, whereas these people will advertise it as being the best food in the history of stomachs.
Buffs Pub has some pretty good Wings Wings done right under the watchful eyes of "Buff "The Buffalo Hotwater
Any good ones Ive had, its just about the sauce Same with Pork ribs Chicken wings and pork ribs, I wouldnt eat either just by themselves
At a few restaurants I've worked in, when they advertised chicken "wings" they actually used mostly thighs with a few wings just thrown in. They would be a little more expensive than what wings alone usually sell for but not a single person complained. People love their "buffalo wings". lol I like eating the "buffalo flavored" (lol) thighs since they have a lot more meat and it isn't as hard to get to as the aggravating wings. Which as several of you have pointed out, wings are not made to eat in public.
About ten years ago or so I went to a local bar that was supposed to sell really good hot wings. The waitress comes out and she has this whole list of "hotness", ending with Atomic (the top of the Scoville Scale). So as I like hot stuff I asked for the Atomic, but then she told me I'd have to sign a waiver, and I said, "Really?" and she said, "Really". So I "chickened out" and got the Sub Atomic ones, right below the Atomic ones on the hotness scale, figuring "What the heck". Out comes the plate full of wings and she plops it down in front of me...and I almost died! I couldn't even breathe for a second just from the smell and I hadn't even taken a bite yet! I caught my breathe and took a little nibble...it was tough. I did manage to eat about half of them but I was sweating profusely, fighting for air, and drinking tons of something or other.....and I could hardly see. The moral is: Hot things come in small packages.
There's a good restaurant called Fire on the Mountain that makes excellent wings. I wouldn't order wings anyplace else.
When they opened the first P.F. Changs in my state, I went to eat there and was so disappointed. Just a giant plate of overpriced meh.
with this in mind, if you ever find yourself in Olean, NY.....head to Third Base for some of the best wings you've ever had. yeah, yeah...the wing is the cheapest part of the bird, and someone figured out how to scam us into paying more for it - but chicken wings are pretty damn good. although, a thigh or breast tossed in the same sauce would probably be a lot better. i thought the Old Toad was over-rated.
wings, pizza, and burgers, (you DO know fast food burgers are 50% textured soy?) are the foods of the gullible.
This doesn't even make sense, kind of like the majority of your posts. Secondly, nobody is talking about fast food or fast food burgers, so please just STFU. You posted a picture one time, and if my memory serves me right, you are pretty overweight (or at least you were at the time), so I would like to know what exactly is it that you eat. I don't think anyone here makes a steady diet of pizza and wings, so again you are just blurting out inane nonsense that sounds like the ramblings of somebody with low-functioning autism.
its what i would consider random thoughts. more then beer, weed and sex, all of which are far too common thoughts then to be at all random. (cars, money and christianity are rather too common to be random either)
