What are the main drugs that you wouldn't want to go near? For me at this point in time it's salvia, PCP, scopolamine and krokodil. I also am very wary of synthetic legal highs and don't tend to go near them either. So, how about you guys?
I Don't Have So Much As An Asprin Or Panadol In My Home, I Guess If We Are Talking About Drugs, My Drug Of Choice Would Be Wine, Basicly Harmless, But Very Mellow... Cheers Glen.
EVERYONE uses drugs, whether they be legal or illegal. Tryptophan, for example, is in many foods we eat, ranging from fruits to meats. It is a moderately effective sleep-aid, and it also has some antidepressant properties. Even nutmeg can get you high, believe it or not. Anyway, off the top of my head, the only drugs I can think of that I wouldn't try are crack(even though I once smoked a blunt laced with powdered cocaine) and krokodil(improperly synthesized desomorphine. I would gladly try pure desomorphine, but not krokodil). Aside from that, I'm down to try anything, but only after having properly researched the substance in question. No drug is inherently "bad". Only the abuse and misuse of the drug is bad, and that includes improper synthesis. Any drug can be used responsibly.
Coke, meth, heroin. None of the dissociatives either - except nitrous oxide which I tried once in late high school.
At least you acknowledge that alcohol is a drug. Kudos. Also, and I'm not saying you abuse alcohol(it's obvious that you don't), but alcohol is easily one of the most dangerous and destructive drugs on the planet, because it's so readily available and socially acceptable. Not to mention the fact that many people don't even consider it to be a drug, simply because it's legal.
I Don't Abuse It, I Simply Enjoy It, Got The Results Of A Whole Range Of Tests From My Doctor Today, One Of Which Was A Liver Function Test, Came Back Perfectly Normal.... Note To GLEN, Must Drink Harder......:2thumbsup: Cheers Glen.
Ok, so I don't knowingly use drugs. Is that better? I drink caffeine. I guess that is a drug. I only drink alcohol on a rare occasion. I went about 10 years without any alcohol. I'd say I maybe have 4 drinks a year. Just doesn't do anything for me. I'm bat shit crazy enough without being under the influence of anything.
My only drug is alcohol too, and i don't drink much or often anyway. TNS, i wouldn't call tryptophan a drug... Tryptophan is an essential amino acid, our body needs it, and we need to get it from food. Very different from actual drugs. It has antidepressive properties because it is a precurspr of serotonin.
At this point I won't mess with anything other than cannabis and, on rare occasion, psilocybin mushrooms. Aside from that, I am pretty anti-drug these days. Even my stance on alcohol has changed considerably.
haha. But I'm fun!!! Besides, I'm always the DD. Someone has to make sure everyone gets home alive. It may as well be me.
Crack and rophynol are probably the main ones I have no desire to try... Benzos and barbitutates don't really appeal to me (tho I've tried xanax) and while opioids are slightly intriguing, (I've tried a few, mostly medicinal) I feel some disassociatives can more or less fulfill that escape and produce a more interesting high with no physical withdrawal.
By definition, anything that affects the way the mind and/or body operates is a drug. Even serotonin is a drug; a tryptamine, in fact. And dopamine is a phenethylamine. You know why many people experience a "high", or a mood-lift, during/after a rigorous workout or sex? That's because it stimulates serotonin, dopamine, endorphins(endogenous opioid peptides), endocannabinoids, etc.. It has even been said that people can experience withdrawal symptoms from ceasing their regular exercise routines.
some of the RC stimulants out there...my last experience with those over a year ago was pretty sketchy, and I'm sure things probably have not gotten any better with the new derivatives (and derivatives of derivatives). Some of those make u more paranoid than meth even FTS!!
