drugs and creativity

    I don't really do a lot of creative writing, poems, song lyrics, etc., mostly it's more of a straight composition style. But I have found I can jot down some ideas I have while I'm high, then go back and expand or unskew them later. Just trying to come up with a final draft when I'm high is usually a disaster, but integrating the altered state ideas can sometimes result in some interesting pieces.

    I'm currently trying to write an essay sober. I'd forgotten how hard this is.

    Ozzy never wrote anything without drugs. They are a creative lubrigant for your mind.

    Yes, along with Lao Tzu, Socrates and Nietzche, Ozzy has definately earned his place in history. I am sure that in the aeons to follow, he will be deeply discussed amongst academics.
