My job doesn't drug test, but I am wondering how they would feel about medical marijuana. I'm guessing that the law would back me up as far as medicating while at work, but I don't expect that it would be a very popular decision. Luckily for me my pain isn't that serious right now to have to do that. But I have sciatic episodes and when it hurts, it hurts. There may come a day when I feel like medicating at work. Should I ask my HR department about this? I wonder.
In Colorado where it is legal for anyone old enough most jobs still don't recognize medial cards and they will fire you if you fail the drug test. They are clinging to federal law but they won't be able to for much longer.
