I put the link in there that clearly showed you that a hit and run wasn't a felony in Kansas. But the reason she isn't going to get it fixed, is because you're going to be giving her money for a small problem that isn't effecting her car, therefore she pockets the money, and doesn't get the car fixed. Its what most people do if its not major.
ok thank you guys i recently quit smoking and im taking cranberry pills and drinking hella water cause i dont have a full month to pass and i have been practically smoking everyday for the past 4 months. No more than a 0 and half though. Yea pokesmot she hasnt even talkd about fixing her car so i assume thats what she is doing. Also does it matter if she was parked when i hit the car and no one was in it?
no it doesn't matter, you hit the car and left the scene. The same thing happened to my friend in a parking lot. Some dude backed into his truck, and a buddy of ours got the guys tag number, and he turned it into the pigs, and he went over to the guys house and waited for him. He ended up with like 1500 in damage to the truck.
just for some feedback my court date was last weds I ended up getting the charge reduced to a non moving violation and a 100 fine
