Anyone here use a drone for aerial photography? I usually shoot video, but starting to do more still photography.
One of these days I will get a drone and start having some fun. I do like looking at the imagery from them, new perspectives!
i have a friend who got a drone for christmas over a year ago, and he's afraid to take it out of the box because he think's he'll break it. makes me want to break him.
I don't need a drone to show me what's overhead, if I wanna know what's overhead, I just take a walk and see.
That's the way I felt in the beginning. Just ell him to take it to a vacant field, or parking lot. The only way to get confidence is to fly.
There is a site that lets my son take a picture of a real steep roof, add in the pitch and make a roof bid. So he bought a drone and uses it. Some roofs are just not walkable. Have to admit--the pictures are quite boring!
I gave my nephew a go pro, I would like to get something so he can use it on a drone. But then I wouldn’t have any, but he would.
Might want to tell him that if he is doing commercial, i.e. Work for his business, he should take the 107 test, to get licensed. He might get away without it, but if he gets caught, it's a hefty fine.
I like the girl is this photo. That arms cocked back and that bottle is gonna be hurlin' and lit. Lit af.
Really seems like an invaluable tool for anyone with acreage and plans. Gives you that birds eye view like little else can
Nothing yet but I can see the value it will have when looking over 50 acre parcels for features one might miss by just trekking around on it. (Not my vid, just a nice one I found of one of my favorite tiny towns)
