Driving while stoned

When you're in the kwik-e-mart you suddenly get this idea.

My girlfriend is a shitty driver when she's sober. When she's drunk she's crazy and goes really fast and then slows down and then starts laughing and I'll be in the car screaming "OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!"

Once she was really drunk and let me drive, I'm underaged so I was all scared. I only went to the store but it was still scary, but at the same time the funnest thing ever.

 

I was smoking with a gal pal of mine and the person who was with us caught a second hand buzz and we drove to my gal pals house. The other girl was weaving in and out of lanes. On the highway. At 6:30. PM.

 

im against it, it is NOT perfectly safe. i have a toddler, i dont let hubby drive high with him in the car.

 

i would never drive stoned with underagers in my vehicle

 

I dont think you should be having underagers in your car at anytime

 

Just dont drive in the snow high. you'll start having to much fun trust me

No big deal. I'm always stoned and I'm always driving while stoned with little noticeable difference in reaction time or or depth perception.

Last night I got high, drove my ass to the batting cage and knocked around 55, 65 and 75 mph baseballs. The 75 mph high fast balls were kickin my ass tho.

Drunk drivers suck, however.

 

You've obviously never driven high in a horrible snow storm. That wasn't fun at all. Went from "everything is fine" to "SHIT'S FUCKED!" in about .002 seconds. Ended up spinning in circles down the middle of the highway. Somehow managed to stay outta the ditch though, probably due to both luck and ninja skills. It didn't happen because I was high though, it was just unavoidable. There were cars in the ditch everywhere that night.

 

on long drives i like to shroom and smoke blunts

 

depends on how stoned and how responsible and careful the people are. if they're bad drivers to begin with, i think that it shouldn't be happening, but if the drivers alright, and awake enough i don't think its too big of a problem.

Well, I hate to admit that I do often drive stoned. My friend and I would even go out for a drive, listen to music and get on the highway. Put the car on cruise control and just have fun. My normal comute home is about 45 min to and hour depending on traffic. I get off of work pull out of my lot and get on the highway and light up. If it is bumper to bumper or going full tilt I can often control myself quite well. I will not say that I am a better driver when stoned but I am comfortable doing it. A couple of times when I had to drive long distance, like 14 hours, I was getting tired and I was starting to look for a hotel to stay the night so I started to smoke up. I was then doing just fine and just kept on going. So I would say for me it works well. If helps me through the rough patch and keeps something for me to do while I am driving. However, I do find that I am also distracted. I listen to books on tape when I drive and when I would run into heavy traffic I would have to turn it off and concentrate on the road. That is while I am stoned. I agree, I don't recomend if for everyone. I am a very good driver in the first place so that when I am stoned I may or may not be a better one but I sure feel that I am more aware of everything around me. It might be a bit of the paranoid kicking in but like I said I feel that I am more aware. In real life I know that my reaction times are down. The best way to accomidate that im my mind is to stay on the right and follow traffic. I like to get behind a big truck and just cruise. That way if he is slowing down I will notice. That is again, just me.

 

45 min commute? you must love gasoline.
