Drinking to get Drunk?

When I was younger I used to drink to get drunk, and I did :tongue: but now after a couple of drinks.. 1,2 or 3 beers I just stop, I dont know get bored of it.

 

Fighting for peace is not like fucking for virginity. Drinking for sobriety is however. Being drunk is fun for me. It also helps me forget all the stupid things i did the night before. It brings out my inner sexiness as well.

I don't even kid myself with such self imposed limitations anymore.

 

I actually drink because I like the taste. It also slightly relaxes me.

 

I drink to get trashed. Right about once a month.

 

If Im just drinking, I usually just like to get trashed.

But if Im getting stoned and drinking, I usually just like a few beers.

 

I either have a few drinks and a few joints, or I just drink and get reasonably drunk. Never over the top because I don't like the consiquences of being too drunk.

 

I was legal to drink when I was 18. I have a drink from time to time. I just hate the feeling of being out of control. It is the main reason I do not drink that much. I hate not having my full senses about me.
I love gin and a great martini. I am very fond of dark beers as well. I am fortunate that I can have 1 and stop. Drinking is all good until the bad things start to happen. I am glad we have the choice to have alcohol if we want.

 

I don't like to drink. But when I decide to do it I always drink so much that I can't even firmly stay on the ground. Next morning I have no wish to drink any more.

 

ive woke up with a lump on my hed an cuts on my face an back pain an a strong sense of guilt, an i dont no wot happend , drinkin is shit

 

I enjoy both. Usually, I like to have 2 or 3 beers with friends over a hockey game or a couple of glasses of wine at dinner. But a couple of times per year I like to get bombed (special occasions).

 

I don't really like being drunk...well, I guess I don't really like the hungover after. So usually I just have a few drinks, and I'm done.

I drink socially to get drunk. I love my friends!
I almost never drink when I'm not out with people.

 

Sometimes ill just have a few beers cause I like beer. Or ill drink to get drunk

 

I finally get my school loan check on Friday. I'm going to pay a lot of bills, buy a new computer, because mine died, pay off my car and the rent and insurance and tuition until August so that I have no bills for the rest of the year except food, electricity and water. Then I'm gonna sit down. I'm going to start with a couple of nice bottles of Belgian Trappist and cook a nice dinner. Then I am going to shift over to a bottle of Jack Daniels and just get PLOWED and play with my new computer all night. Definately like to be drunk, if I'm in a safe environment, like my living room.

 

i don't go out and get drunk every time i have a drink. usually i'll have a drink or two. other times i'll have a drink or two or ten. it just depends on the situation.
