    anything country. it's by far the most fitting drinking music, IMO. I mean, it's either depressing or it's jump-up-and-do-a-jig fun, which fits perfectly with the dual nature of alcohol (make you feel sad, make you feel glad).

    country can make for good drinking music, but i'm not too big on it.

    some real lively bluegrass is perfect, imo. and sake is the PERFECT thing to get drunk on....for me.....

    yeah, my g-pa likes to listen to hick country music, like banjo old stuff ya know. it's funny. everyone dances and we have a good time. lol.

    For me, I love hard rock and metal while drinking. Drinking and smoking I enjoy listening to some breakbeats or hard house.

    Though the people themselves are OK I guess, I'm not into Celtic anything, and the government repulses me.

    I know who they are. I'm not into it.

    Every time I think of green, shamrocks, leprechauns, fiddle music, green beer, Guinness, brogues etc. I think of the IRA bombs that came close to killing my family.
