    yeah, maybe that's it.

it's surprising to me largely because underage drinking is one of the few things that the police really seem to crack down on around here. i didn't expect any exceptions.

Is the drinking age still 25 in Delhi?

    I think most of India it's 21.

I would imagine with the military thing is..if you put your life on the line, you should be allowed to drink..

Or at least having a fucking drink when you come home, right?

I will not be an alcohol nazi when I have children. I would like them (at around 16) to be able to appreciate a glass of red wine at dinner, or a beer at a barbecue. It's not a huge deal when it isn't prohibited.

how about during peace time? or military people who have completely non-life threatening jobs?

i used to deliver pizzas to poor black people. i was putting my life on the line just as much as the average military person.

don't matter, cause cops are more biased to military personel cause a majority were in the military..
plus poor people should not be buying pizzas..they should be buying broccoli.

truer words have never been spoken.

they get that welfare check for $300 or whatever, and in the first week they've spent $100 on two crappy meals...

but I do understand what you are saying..double standards blow and cause stumbling blocks for everyone else in respecting any kind of law enforcement.
