I keep having problems though re: connecting to a host. When I go on Define sites>connect - it would say "host found, connecting" then after a minute it would say "ftp error - cannot make connection to host"

Now I have put all the correct data needed in define sites>local info and remote info, the ftp settings and everything else is correct. I have left the host directory field blank on Remote page, and I have left the HTTP field blank on Local page. One theory I have is that on the Site Window there is no file in the Remote Site window, it is completely blank, and i haven't the foggiest on how to set one up. Maybe that might have something to do with it? I'm not sure.
I left the 'use firewall (in preferences)' blank, I have also enabled it but it doesn't work either, it still hasn't solved this. Just to also add that my dreamweaver package is Dreamweaver 4.

Not always but sometimes the server can be playing up,
just try again later. If your convinced your putting in the
correct info make sure the ftp ''web server info'' is all correct.
I leave blank ''host directory'' + ''use passive ftp'' + ''use firewall''.
Another one is to make sure all yours files have no blank spaces
between the letters and that they end in .htm or .html.
The file in the remote site window will only appear once you've
    established a connection, btw.
Sounds like a server problem though, try another day.
