i've had one or two dreams in which i was able to do that. in real life, i don't believe even contortionists would be able to. the human body just isn't built that way. which leads me to speculate, that either the subconscious can conceive absolutely anything as being possible, which is perfectly possible, or that past and future lives can take place on many worlds, each of which, people evolve on in ways and appearances, completely alien to all of each other. that isn't an exclusive or either. more likely both possibilities are completely real. as for symbology, i won't even touch that, but i'm sure every flavor of pshrinqueology has its own flavor of spin to put on it.
