Thanks for clearing that up GLEN I can't wait to see the progress of your dreads Squareback, I love seeing baby dreads progress into mature locks. I hope I keep my loopies, I'll post some pictures on my loopies tomorrow. I also am trying to congo two dreads. I am hoping it will be some sort of spiral dread( sounds so cool XD) I also have a braid dread going on, can't wait to see how that pans out.

Looks like purple it is , I might go a but more of a bluer hue though. I guess I'm biased haha, I dyed my hair purple for the last 3 years...
Reached 4 months and have 3 braided dreads and am congoing 2 little dreads. I can't wait until I gain some length... I always have to do a high ponytail to tie back all my dreads. I tried to take some pictures but I suck at taking pictures of the back of my head.
Need pictures I am 4 months too in a few days! So exciting how quick its gone already! Did you end up dying them?
Nah, I haven't had the time. I have been working on a lot of stuff lately, hopefully I will have the time to get some bleach and some hair dye and post up some pictures soon...
Finally updating, a little bit over 5 months now. I am so stoked my dreads are finally locking up properly and one of my congos are almost fully formed.
How are your's so completely dreaded like that?? I mean, at this stage, mine are like half dreaded! lol. Can't wait to see your 6 month
I am not entire positive... Could be that I sleep on my back a lot or I have really fucked up hair from dyeing an bleaching it so much. so many factors...but yeah I'm stoked for the 6 month mark, I can't wait to see your progress at that mark too.
So I just hit the 6 month mark a couple of days ago... I feel like there were no changes.. but then again it is my own hair and I don't really pay attention. I should have pictures up soon. I am just super lazy....
I am at 8 months now. XD so stoked I only have 4 more months until the 1 yr mark. I am finally getting more length, hopefully by the year mark my hair will be at my goal length. Anyways apparently some people don't think dreads should be all loopy and wavy. I laugh, they are like what the fuck are you doing with your hair or you should palm roll your hair, let me palm roll it for you and even let me crochet it for you. I always tell them to back off. I also have been debating about regrowing and dreading the sides of my head but I love my mohawk so much. Will post pictures soon, I also dyed my hair
i realised that my hair is only loopy up to a point, (and tis very loopy indeed haha) but all the new growth is perfectly straight, who'da thunk it? is quite cool cus when it grows more it'll be all noticeably straight with wavy ends and you're so lucky to get growth at 8 months! mine shrunk its most between 11-12 months and i swear I've only just started seeing sign of growth at 15 months, jealous!
That how mine are too, they are slightly straight with loopy ends. Well all hair is different. I started my dreads somewhat short and my hair grows quick.
