Dread head swap box!!!

I could probably find a glass bead to throw in on a swap box - borosilicate made by yours truely! Mamaboogie, how's the one in your little love's hair working out? Is the size still good?

*checks cases* Actually, I don't have any made right now. I'm hoping to have my studio set up out here in the next week or two, and I can make one then!

i make hemp sleeves and beaded hemp sleeves that i would be more than willing to send out ...anyone interested pm me an addy

 

like regular clay, you bake it and it hardens permanently. unlike regular clay, you can bake it in a regular oven for a few minutes instead of a kiln overnight. It does tend to break if you try to force too big a dread on too small a bead, or if you step on one, but it's okay to leave in your hair, get them wet or sleep on them.

yup, it's just right! Her dreads are getting fatter as they shrink up, but the bead you made fits on all but the largest of them.

 

painted somebeads tonite... I have no idea what happens when they get wet, or how long they'll last, I just used cheap paint and my mediocre artistic skills-- but here they are in all their glory

Well I think you need to put them in your hair!

I'm gonna try to make some wire wraps today, and maybe stop at the craft store and pick up some of that fimo clay ... I need more stuff in my hair.
