OK, let me put it this way; they believe in the Christian god, and probably Jesus and the bible, but don't pray, go to church, or even talk about it at all. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk 2
Well I've never heard of that definition, seems a bit confusing considering the 'Christ' prefix. Humanism I think is more descriptive to what you are talking about. Please excuse the crude nomenclature but I believe they would fall under the catagory Jack-Christian (see Jack-Mormon)
That may be true but Christians generally refer to him as 'The Christ' A friend of mine from Trinidad (mostly catholic) once told me that in his belief anyone could be a 'Christ' simply by conducting thier life following the virtues of Jesus's teachings... so there ya go.
Christos is Greek and means “anointed one." There have been many anointed ones. Iêsous (Jesus) is Greek.
The religion and messiah of atheism. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/201...-non-believers-takes-god-out-of-the-equation/
Yeah...here's the thing. Since no one atheist can really speak for another, maybe it's time to put down that gigantic paint brush. It's very important to realize that not all atheists are skeptics and even worse, like those atheist church guys, they're just looking for a new coat of paint to hide the paradigms they still haven't really dropped yet. An atheistic church is fucking stupid.
Yeah, why associate yourself with other people just because they happen to simply share the lack of belief in or use for religion? Because religious people do so?
LOL Oh RJ you know the Blaze is Glenn Becks little dis-info propaganda station don't you? Glen Beck makes me wanna puke What little respect I had left for you just flew mang
You can share stuff and not have to call yourself a church. Form a group. A cohort. A community. A circus. Whatever, but as soon as you call it a church then you've really kind of failed as a rational Atheist. I belong to an atheist group. (just in case you're assuming I'm not one or dislike all groups) As I mentioned in my post, it just seems to me that they are non-deists still trapped in a deistic paradigm. Seems the same to me as atheists that believe that lizard aliens rule the planet. Atheist does not equal skeptic.
Ok. For some reason your sarcasm seem directed at what me. As in 'why would people who have things in common gather, your duhness' It happens.
don't be ridiculous, sur all intelligent people know Murphy rules the planet:smilielol5::smilielol5::smilielol5:
