Dots next to member info

Maybe I'm just extra slow, but what are the little colored dots next to everyone's information (when they post). There are green and black ones. The green dots say, "____ is on a distinguished pathway" and the black ones say, "_____ is on a disabled pathway." Or something close to that.

green dots mean the person is on line currently, black dots mean the opposite.

 

but im online and my dot is black

The dots the people in this thread are talking about most probebly represent your 'reputation'.

 

where is that reputation stuff outlined at?

 

I have added reputation points to some people, just out of curiosity of the whole system.
does anyone know how to view the reputation of yourself and/or others?

well i like you , i just dont understand how all the dots and stuff work yet!

 

just put the mouse over the green or purple dot. but it looks like all you can see is whether they're "distinguished" or "disabled"

 

I found mine by accident, I don't know how I did... but apparently I'm doing okay....
