So the other day when I street cop'd I was sold a sharp with the powdered dope already in it. No water, just dope. Ive never seen this before. Anyone experienced it?
It was just a street dealer. Not a solid connec which is why it was weird. I already have used sharps and dont need a dealer to hint at it. Just weird for here
For sure. Considering you can buy ten of them at the pharmacy legally for 3 bucks, why would I? But even when the pharms were closed the only way I would buy or get one off of someone else and just use it was those individual ones sealed in plastic. Otherwise fuck that shit, where's the bleach? Wouldn't trust that shit. It's fucking weird to me. Oh, and to answer the question. No.
Yeah, I would definitely clean it out with bleach first, and maybe alcohol too. I'm diabetic and inject 3-4 times per day. A few years ago I was running low on syringes and was cleaning some out with water and reusing them. I got away with it several times until I finally had a bad one. I felt the infection starting within 1 hour and knew I was in trouble. Luckily I was able to get in to see my Dr. within a few days. By then I had an abscess 2 in. in diameter that wouldn't drain. Luckily the antibiotics they gave me killed it, but I still have the scar.
You can tell if a rig is new because there should be a small air gap between the tip and the plunger like this: I agree that's sketchy as fuck...I've heard of ppl putting powder in syringe and pulling blood straight back and shooting up like that but that's probably a really bad idea. Usually rigs are sold seperately...and you really can't trust it 100% unless you get it urself from a pharmacy Batteries not included
I would always transfer it to a fresh rig, especially since we can just buy them at pharmacys here. It was just such a weird experience, must have been such a pain to pack a point into each rig for sale.
