I think Bill is asking about "Custom Status". For that, you need to either be a Senior member, or Donate to the site.

 

I realized I became a member after my 60th post. I may have been before that, but I didn't really notice it till then.

 

50th post = member i do believe

how many posts does it take to become a senior member to have custom status or whatnot

it's 1000 posts to be a senior member - not too sure about the custom thing, i think you have to donate to the site

The site doesn't run itself, it's expensive, and Donors get extras for the thanks. You can also have your own forum, if you want. All this and more, for 10 bucks.

Member used to be 50, when everyone had a new account, now its higher (100 i think).
