oh my word...I'm so sorry. Personally I think its best to send out a beloved pet with dignity, as your parents are doing; but that for sure doesn't make things easier.

I'm one of those people that believe in my heart of hearts, my soul even, that I (we) will see our passed on loved pets when we cross to the other side. I'm 61 and have loved a number of cats and dogs, so I'm expecting a herd to welcome me. It may sound like I'm joking, and I'm smiling through a tear or 2 as I think of some of my cats and my very much loved dog, Jack... but I'm truly serious.

 

On this 4/20 I found myself actually looking forward to posting on this crazy, insane, wonderful Stoner's Lounge chat thread. No where else on the internet that I go to will appreciate this day like it is here at HF. I've been coming here for 10 yrs now. My "official" anniversary here isn't until 8/18/18.

Those hats for the dogs (or rabbits) are precious!!! I would love to have not only those hats but an animal that would allow it to stay on their head for longer than the moment it was 1st situated.

I'm in a relationship that is difficult to define, other than there is nookie swapping and neither of us are interested in sex with other people. We talk everyday, usually more once. I love my bff LuAnn...however I do believe is what I truly feel is he is my very best friend. I'm not comfortable talking about love and feelings and such as that. lordhavemercy no lol

UNLESS I'm talking about my feelings for an animal. Then I'm all about some gooey love feelings. smh lol
