Well actually it's the other way around.. People without children often need to justify themselves why they don't have to people who do have children any because it's 'normal' to have and want children in this society. People who don't have any children can give you a lot of reasons why and people with children have a lot less reasons.. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you need a lot of reasons to want a child.. People think it's odd they don't want kids and think it's weird and that's why people without children often feel the need to justify themselves..

 

Im not listening to anyone who watches Friends...

 

hehehe.. a bit narrow minded are we??

 

when im say 30 there's going to be huge amounts of old people around because right now its 'trendy' for people not to have kids. and most of them in their expensive apartments living lavishly and laughing at the mothers and fathers they see trying to make a living for ther kids. and the birth rate is on the decline here. people without children save a lot of money, might be a reason they rate themselves as happier, not having to make financial sacrifices etc.. i think it's a bit sad.. when they die people wont remember them after a while as that's where their tree ends. i love learning about my ancestors and great great granparents and such. you miss out on soooo much not having a family like that. i just think people who have families and are so thankful for everything wonder why anyone would pass up a chance at something like that when they have the option

 

yes.... Friends though has to be one of the worst and over played shows ever..
but hey, if you want to relate real life situations to an episode of Friends, go for it my friend..

and as for this baby stuff... You have every right for your random thought and your feelings about it, but others also have their right to their opinion..

So if you make a point and say "A recent study says", that backs you up? Whatever...Frankly your "study" shows that people without children are selfish....too selfish to put their lives on hold while they raise children.

There's nothing wrong with people who don't want kids. There IS something wrong if they have to put parents down to feel better about themselves...

You're like a skinny person making fun of fat people so you can feel good about being skinny....




one more thing.....here's some real study information....not having children, as a woman, puts you at a higher risk for several types of cancer...

 

So you think you should have children because of other people? Whats your own motivation?? If it was up to other people I'd be pregnant by now, cause my mother would love to become a grandparent. And that there are going to be a lot of old people around in 10 to 20 years is because of 50/60 years ago it was 'trendy' to have a lots of baby's.. After the war there was a baby boom.. everybody got pregnant.. So are you going to blame the war for this?? I think that reason is a bit silly.. People should decide for themselves to have children or not.. I personally don't have much with my ancestors, because I live now.. But even if I did I know my (great)grandparents wouldn't want me to live in the past but look ahead..

 

I can give you the research information if you want.. you think I'm making this up? I just learned about it last week in a class about infertility (spelling?) if you want the names of the researchers I'll look it up for you if you want.. And cancer runs in my family, probably going to die from it anyways..

And for the last time.. I'm not making fun or judging anybody.. It's just my opinion.. That you feel that I'm making fun of you is saying more about yourself then about me..

I think I've said about everything I could say about this subject.. Now I'm going to do some schoolwork.. Study about feminism.. maybe I can come back later and talk about how feminism supports woman making up their own mind about having children or not j/k

You really need to study if you think that feminism is about not having children.... I guess you think being a feminist means shaving your head and being a butch wearing flannel shirts......

Feminism is about women...and there is nothing in the world more "woman" than having a baby and nursing them...
