I can't really shorten the name Laura lol. I can go Aussie bogan and call he Lozza :D but I don't because that's not nice and I doubt she'd appreciate that though old friends used to say that. She always calls me by my full name. She's well spoken though and she says words fully unlike me who will

Shortn anythin cause I'm lazy en pick up bad habits learnin English.

My boss's wife's name is Lori and he calls her "Lor."

Anyway, anyone with a multi-syllable name in my life has it shortened. Brianna's Bri, I'm Kay, my friend Allison is Al, Ashley from work is Ash, and so on and so on...must be a Yank thing

    Jocelyn
    Joss
    Jossey
    Cyn
    Josscyn
    Jocelling Jocelyn
Or some people are really lazy and say jofflin I've had that a few times.

I always like Jossy (Jocey) or Cyn :)
When people wrote Joc, I read it as Joss but I feel others might read it as jock.

When my little brother was first learning to talk, he couldn't say "Katie" and started calling me "Kay Kay" and then my dad and stepmom started calling me that, and the rest of my siblings called me that after they were born, and after awhile it always felt like my "real" name, so I just went with it. Tis what family and friends call me still to this day.

My Granddaughter calls her Brother " Omnic " for dominic so she shortens it the other way
    which is really original

honda timing belt job booked for next week..im starting to like those ...easy peasy when you do a few its easy to remember where all the bolts are and things go a lot faster than when its something new and you have to learn where things are and what order is needed

There is really no good reason for me to be here at this time of dang night, other than my addiction to HF and my love to write things.

We are all writers that come and post here and have been doing so for a while. I think so anyway.

Rather than feeding my addiction and posting my ass needs to be in there cleaning and straightening. I'm actually further along at this point that I usually am. I'm seeing serious light. lol At least I think that's what it is...its been so long since I've seen any I realize I could be, well, seeing things.

I'm just trying out this predictive text game but I Dun wanna post it on face book.

I drink because.. I might actually have to be a smart arse and then his first post is utter absolute rubbish and a complete facade of the time and effort he has done to make it happen to me and I will be 63.

:p couldn't have said it better myself. :tearsofjoy:

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see a Prison-for-Profit thing start in SC.

    I hope I'm wrong.
