All of them seem as if business as usual is going to placate the natives. Clinton is THE MACHINE. The republicans are THE MACHINE. I know what--let's try something new, regardless of the fear mongering repubs and the lackadaisical dems------I say Sanders --Warren, in an attempt at reducing the endless cycle of feast or famine ALWAYS caused by those who manage to eventually haul in most of the money to the deleterious effect we saw from 2000 to 2008. This not the first time our society has been hijacked by the haves --
and that the accumulation of wealth and distortion of elections by a few elites ("supreme" court,1%, and lackeys) have brought unrest, poverty and upheaval to OUR NATION. They make sure
the cycle continues ---greed is good--and tough shit if you're one of the working people that may have lost your house, may have lost your job, may have to now take food stamps instead of a decent paycheck, (get a job, you lazy takers!) Yeah. I'm ready to get some folks in office that won't try to reverse all the well earned gains of the unions over the years.

Some folks that will realize and consider that ALL the work done in this country is and has been done by regular working folks--not the godamn paper pushers who have and will continue to up-end any progress that forward thinking people consider important. Sanders-Warren for some change that is sorely needed. Trump? Fuck him and his "SMALL" loan" his daddy gave him. Like most of the rest of the candidates on both sides---none of those motherfuckers have ever done a REAL days work in their lives.

 

The next time a terrorist group plans an attack in America, I want the FBI to be aware of everything they're saying to each other.

 

Yeah, but guess what. They're gonna use all the best crypto and the latest cracking tools and exploits whether Hilary Clinton or the FBI likes it or not. ISIS will tell them to suck. Sure, if you want ISIS to take over your computer and network, go ahead, by all means don't use strong security. They don't give a fuck if we say "you can't use cryto" ... haha. Hilary Clinton don't know shit about computer security.

Someday they'll make a movie about Trump's (failed, please God!) 2016 presidential campaign. I wonder if it be made as a drama or a comedy.

I also keep thinking about Huey Long who was shot dead in 1935 while running for President. I actually hope history will repeat itself, because there are far worse things than one man getting killed.

 

Now Sarah Palin has endorsed him, and I'll bet even that makes his poll numbers rise! In fact I'll bet that if Bush endorsed that would make his poll numbers rise! If it does this nation is fucked!

I tried to watch her speech but really couldn't stand that squeaky voice for more than a minute.

You must not value democracy very much if the ideal way of stopping a presidential candidate that opposes your political views would really be mudering him.

 

No, the ideal way of stopping a candidate is to discredit him, but Trump can't be discredited in some people's eyes! The worse he looks the better he looks! It seems this country is filled with idiots who want us to conquer the world, to kick their ass and take their gas!

I do value democracy, and that's exactly why I don't want Trump elected!

 

I understand, but not much is worse for a democracy than simply killing the politicians one side would not like. I already guessed you didn't mean it that literally but still such a sentence is worth verifying

The only things worse than that for a democracy is a significant amount of people not using their vote. Even voting out of tradition/affiliation is better than that (but not much better imo).

In my mind it makes sense if everyone would be a floating voter with every election. I know, that's utopia.
