Yea yea, I heard the same about Obama. Supposedly the KKK was going to assassinate him. As if the KKK was actually a viable thing. Laughable.

This is why we can't have a conversation about it.

Or maybe it's because really inflexible people give up way too fast. It's a feelings thing isn't it?

This time it's the political establishment the new president is deeply unpopular with.

I doubt that it will be that bad. The Republicans will go after Obamacare, although they may find it more difficult to unravel than they think, They'll certainly go after the EPA, environmental regulation and regulation in general. Trump will appoint Supreme Court Justices and lower federal judges to the courts who will be hostile to abortion and LGBT rights but pro-prayer and Citizens United. and uncontrollled campaign spending. And we'll be back to the Bush policies of tax cuts for the rich and trickle down economics. We won't have the Pacific trade deal. I'm not sure about the others. We might have the wall (at u.S. taxpayers expense), and stepped up deportations. The rest is uncertainty. We'll find out when the first international crisis comes up how Trump will react. I'm not optimistic.

    Just out:

Trump announces plans to dismantle Dodd-Frank.

Dodd Frank is not an illegal immigrate or Muslim by the way, nor is this going to be the first instance of Trump's pledge to reintroduce torture. I think he's saving that for Hillary after he locks her up. Frank Dodd is not a real person either.

Dodd Frank was the set of regulations put into place on the banking system to prevent another crash of our economy.
    Stupid idea.

I'm installing a new front door on my house. It's going to be one of those double ones like on the old Southern plantation houses. Then I'm going to open both doors up real wide so all that trickle down money can just F L O W right into my living room.

    It's gonna be great!

Ah yes. Rudy Giuliani , our Attornery General to Be, is already making noises in that regard. Poor Hillary went through eight years of Republican investigations by several committes in the '90s without coming up with anything. Going after Hillary will be a test of Trump's judgment, since if he goes down that road he'll sharpen the divisions in this country and make us look more and more like a Third World dictatorship.

Missing something there. When someone has been suspected to do something wrong there is an investigation. Pretty much been that way for 200 years. Why all of a sudden would it look third world.

When someone who happens to be the opposition candidate and who won a majority of the popular vote has been "suspected to do something wrong", and when she previously underwent eight years of fruitless investigations by Republicans in the "90s and the matter in question has been the subject of extensive investigation by Congress and the FBI, Trump has promised to put her in jail, the matter has been investigated and cleared by the FBI director, and Trump's followers chant "lock her up" at all her rallies, I think it would have a Third World appearance to proceed with an indictment and would be an exercise of bad judgment on the Republicans' part. Indictments are depend on a showing of probable cause of a crime, not reasonable suspicion. If new evidence turns up showing probable cause, so be it. But I think a show trial of Clinton would eliminate any pretensions that the Republicans want to bring the nation together, and they'll have to face the political consequences. The choice is there's. Bring it on!

Because she's already been investigated for 40 years.

But don't worry I'm sure Trump will also investigate his own call for Russia to hack into people's private documents, his illegal fundraising, and his fraudulent "university."

Actually I heard Obama is going to pardon her for all the crimes she never committed in the past and any future ones that are also found to be not committed by her at that time or the ones she commits after she dies.

There won't be a trial. But I don't think it looks third world to take a second look. Being that she is worth 110 million. She could have easily paid off someone. (Personally I am sure she did) but that dosnt matter. If there was enough there the FBI would have arrested her. This special investigater trump gets will only have the same info available. So bottom line is its only a slight waste of taxpayer money and a few people's spare time.
