See, I never saw Trump as my perfectly ideal candidate. For the longest time I didn't even wanna vote for him. But this country has a nasty culture problem on its hands: Black Lives Matter is destroying racial relations and black communities, 3rd wave feminists are spreading lies of rape culture, college campus kids are demanding trigger warnings before any lecture they attend, social justice warriors are demanding safe spaces for people who hate straight white men, Caitlin Jenner is saying it was easier to come out as transgender than it was to come out as a conservative. And on, and on. A Trump victory proves these social justice assholes who call everything racist have lost!

Trump is an ideal antidote to the cultural problems this country is facing. I took a chance with him because as someone who stood in the face of the Bush and Clinton dynasties, he might be what changes politics as usual. That's why I voted for a final presidential contender for the first time in my life, despite being in a solid blue state where my vote never actually counted. Do I believe he is everything I hope for in a candidate? Absolutely not. He will likely start a few problems and fail to live up to a lot of his campaign promises, as with any other politician. I am well aware of the possibility he could betray all of his supporters and take this country the same direction the Clintons would've done if they took back the white house. But it was a chance worth taking.
