Well I've already voted. Here in Oregon we have mail-in ballots. And yes I voted for Hillary like I said I would.

When she was way up in the polls I thought I'd vote for a 3rd-party or write-in candidate, but then I read that Trump was getting closer in the polls.

So if you're planning to vote for Trump I just cancelled out your vote!

 

Hillary is in such deep shit now that anybody who was on the fence will make up their mind not to vote for her now.

 

That is what trump and the Trump people are hoping anyway...but nah, i don't see it that way.....

Notice 11 days before the election, this happens...people are being played like pieces on a monopoly game board, and they don't see it....
and it depends on what news station you are listening to and who is telling it.

I knew something like this was in the works when people were telling me that trump was finished...I knew he wasn't....

I don't know if it is too late. But I have two takes, on the Donald Trump presidency, and phenomenon. And I guess these two points would be directed more at the conservatives on this board:

(1) I don't think we can rely on Mr. Trump to consistently appoint original intent conservatives to the courts. He is clearly pro-choice, in my humble opinion at least. He always was, and always will be (most people of that bent are). But unlike Mitt Romney, though, he isn't even good at lying about it. I am not saying he won't appoint some. Actually, I he is such a wild man, I don't think we can be sure of who he will appoint to the courts at all. It probably will depend on what mood he is in that day. Also, he may not appoint people to the courts who are qualified at all. I didn't agree with George W. Bush's ultra-conservatism. But at least (I later found out) he appointed qualified judges to the courts. Trump may just appoint people who are crazy, like he is. I am reminded of this cartoon in the 1930's, when FDR wanted to pack the Supreme Court. It showed 4 little midget FDR's running around the SCOTUS. That's maybe what Trump will do. We just don't know. Think about it, please.

and (2) do you really think even Republicans will support him after a while? The Democrats will surely try to impeach him--and the Republicans will probably agree! Then we will be stuck with President Pence, instead. Sounds to me a typically Political statement that sounds good on the ear and stimulates action - but in truth Politics is always the same - say and stimulate/provoke response (btw I never knew that the UK were devastated and in tatters?!) but default into the same old thing.
People not knowing is one thing - People knowing but acting upon consideration is indeed another
The concern is that "Coming in with a Vengeance" is just the type of thing that someone like Trump would do - and that - on the Worldwide stakes is a real worry.

No GG, I can't see that. Trump may have wit and charm, but sincerity? If his lips are moving, he's lying. He'd be the worst President in history, and I've lived through the Nixon and Bush administrations! He's unqualified and unfit!

I'm not thrilled at the prospect of Hillary for President but I'm terrified of the prospect of Trump for President!
