Western feminists are silent on the subject of women's rights when the violations are occurring in a non-western nation. To be critical of the way a Muslim nation treats women would be 'culturally biased' or 'insensitive' (perhaps even racist) and we can't have that. Of course Saudi Arabia has a shit-ton of oil and Qatar lets us use their airbase, but I'm sure that has nothing to do with Hillary's silence. ;)

That's because they are too busy trying to ban the word "bossy," fighting a war on man-spreading, trying to define natural sexual urges as violence and more.

When it comes to beautiful women, islam and feminism have the same opinon: cover them up.

I don'think there are many nonprofit organizations, if any, that would refuse money from a sovereign donor just because they disagree with how that sovereignity does things, unless the conflict of interest with the foundation is blatant. I'm sure that if there are AIDs victims in Saudi Arabia, that the Clinton Foundation has helped them. I am sure that the Saudi's would appreciate that and make donations. Hillary doesn't use the money personally, and her foundation is a separate entity.A donation should not influence the philosophy of a nonprofit organization. Trump knows he's making an issue out of a non-issue.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Align yourselves with a psychopathic political criminal and say it like it's not a bad thing.

Say it loud! Say it proud, Hillary supporters!

Trump won't commit to saying he will accept the results of the election when he loses. We know a lot of Trump supporters won't accept it when Hillary wins, and if Trump continues saying it was all rigged then the shit will hit the fan.

To be fair, consider what happened last time he was expected to toe a line on something like this. He finally relented on their petty little "loyalty" pledge and, shock of all shocks, it was the republicans who stabbed (and keep stabbing) him in the back.

If he can't trust his own party, what are the chances he'll trust the democrats? Elections most certainly do get rigged or we wouldn't have purple fingers in some parts of the world. The ancient Greeks had election fraud, why can't we?

    Boy, that's for sure.

Did you know that in January 2016, the Saudi government executed 47 people, including a prominent pacifist Shia cleric, who had been a leader of the 2011 Arab Spring in Yemen. Many of those executed were tortured during their detention and denied due process. Most were beheaded. This horrifies us when ISIS does it. Yet State Department spokesman John Kirby protested weakly, “We believe that diplomatic engagement and direct conversations remain essential in working through differences.”

Also in January 2016, Palestinian artist and poet Ashraf Fayadh, a Saudi citizen whose family is from Gaza, was sentenced to death by beheading. His alleged crimes: “apostasy,” or renouncing Islam, and photographing women. “Throughout this whole process,” Amnesty International UK found, “Ashraf was denied access to a lawyer – a clear violation of international human rights law.”

Both Saudi Arabia and the United States are parties to the Geneva Conventions, which define as grave breaches willful killing, willfully causing great suffering or serious injury to body or health, and torture or inhuman treatment. Grave breaches are considered war crimes. Also prohibited are “the passing of sentences and the carrying out of executions without previous judgment pronounced by a regularly constituted court, affording all the judicial guarantees which are recognized as indispensable by civilized peoples.

Saudi Arabia has engaged in war crimes, and the United States is aiding and abetting them by providing the Saudis with military assistance. In September 2015, Saudi aircraft killed 135 wedding celebrants in Yemen. The air strikes have killed 2,800 civilians, including 500 children. Human Rights Watch charges that these bombings “have indiscriminately killed and injured civilians.”

During the past five years, the U.S. government has sold the Saudis $100 billion worth of arms. These sales have greatly enriched U.S. defense contractors.

A United Nations panel of experts concluded in October 2015 that the Saudi-led coalition had committed “grave violations” of civilians’ human rights. They include indiscriminate attacks; targeting markets, a camp for displaced Yemenis, and humanitarian aid warehouses; and intentionally preventing the delivery of humanitarian assistance. The panel was also concerned that the coalition considered civilian neighborhoods, including Marra and Sadah, as legitimate strike zones. The International Committee of the Red Cross documented 100 attacks on hospitals.

In an interesting twist, the Saudis contributed $10 million to the Clinton Foundation before Hillary Clinton became Secretary of State. In 2011, the year after the State Department had documented myriad serious human rights violations by Saudi Arabia, Hillary oversaw a $29 billion sale of advanced fighter jets to the Saudis, declaring it was in our national interest. The deal was “a top priority” for Hillary, according to Andrew Shapiro, an assistant secretary of state. Two months before the deal was clinched, Boeing, manufacturer of one of the fighter jets the Saudis sought to acquire, contributed $900,000 to the Clinton Foundation.

    Pretty simple, huh?

I know the law on this kind of thing. She's lucky it wasn't crunchy peanut butter because the penalty would have been doubled. Peanut butter and jelly, and you're looking at hard time!

    This is funny:

Witnesses claimed the 32-year-old entered the meeting at 9:30pm holding a “family-size jar of low-sodium, creamy natural Jif” peanut butter . . .

Could they be more specific? Like include the expiration date, too, maybe? LOL!

I know the law on this, too. The judge will be more lenient because it was low-sodium.
    _______________________________________________________________________

I wonder if there's a way to smear peanut butter on other peoples' posts in here. Smucker's All Natural to be specific . . . low sodium.

What drives a person to think that vandalism is ever a good way to express themselves politically? And what did she use to apply it? How can someone actually think they have a right to do this? She's fortunate she wasn't discovered by the kind of car owner who goes insane if you even look at it wrong.

It's probably the same mentality that seems to think assaults are an effective political strategy.

I'm thinking that a blood alcohol level of 0.218, which is more than twice the legal limit for driving, had something to do with it, too.

Two Candidates with dubious history, skeletons and faux pas continually scrutinised with a choice of 'alleged' corruption or megalomaniac and dangerous desire = "Happy to be a Brit" :)

But this election doesn't have to be rigged. Trump has stuck his foot in his mouth too many times and he's toast, but he'll never admit it's his own damn fault. When he loses I can see him still claiming it was all rigged and riling up his supporters. The ultimate sore loser! If he can't win the election he'll try to make Hillary look as bad as possible to undercut her support. Getting the American people behind her will be a straight uphill battle and the next four years could be pure hell.

[ Transcript ] […] Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American People. There is nothing the political establishment will not do, and no lie they will not tell, to hold on to their prestige and power at your expense.
The Washington establishment, and the financial and media corporations that fund it, exists for only one reason: to protect and enrich itself.
The establishment has trillions of dollars at stake in this election. As an example, just one single trade deal they’d like to pass, involves trillions of dollars controlled by many countries, corporations and lobbyists.
For those who control the levers of power in Washington, and for the global special interests they partner with, our campaign represents an existential threat.

Just like the last 8 years. It's time we send Washington a message that obstructionist politics has to end. The GOP in particular has waged a war of obstructionism, and that has been one of the biggest problems for our country. The Democrats do it as well----but the last 8 years have been record breaking in terms of blocking bills, shut downs, and so forth. (And people wonder why the recovery is so feeble...)

No more bullshit------its time to work together!
