The wealth concentration has never been higher, while the government has gerrymandered the entire voting system to death and suspended our constitutional rights indefinitely. Wikileaks and hackers like anonymous are merely the natural response to the situation. To complain about people fighting back anyway they can against gross injustice is about as useless as tits on a boar hog.

When there is no justice in or out of court what comes around goes around and around. All the rhetoric about law and order and justice fall on deaf ears in black ghettos where they've never gotten much in the way of justice. It falls on deaf ears now for millions of Americans the banks robbed of their homes and life savings. When the billionaire mayor of NYC arrested 26 reporters in one day and only got a slap on the wrist democracy officially died in America and its every man for himself. The government would not hesitate for a second to throw you in jail at the point of a gun for not paying your taxes, yet Trump has not paid them in twenty years. That IS armed robbery, but you have a slave mentality and simply don't recognize it for what it is.

 

I don't see them as "people fighting back" against oppression. I see it as rogue elites with an agenda intervening to throw a monkey wrench into the democratic process to promote its own interests, which seem to coincide with Russia's. You may be right that resistance is futile, but I'd like to give it a try.

Please tell me why you still believe the US is a democracy? Because reality TV tells you so?

Whoa you really misunderstood me.

I think freedom of press is one of the most, if not the most important pillars of a free society

And I think mass media controlled by a tiny number of corporations and heavily influenced by major political parties, who of course recieve campaign donations from the same corporations who own the media, is absolutely not a free press.

Now in terms of Donald Trump, I have no idea what i've said to make you think I would support anything he does

BUT i was intrigued by the wikileaks email describing him as a pied piper and showing that the DNC influenced the media to take him seriously at first.

And i have no doubt the current wave of media attacks on him are equally influenced by the DNC. Not that he hasnt done anything to deserve it, he's clearly a shit bag. But nevertheless, political parties influence our press more than I am comfortable with
