I'm not the one who brought up the issue of what a television show uncovered about Hillary Clinton's wrongdoings. So why are you talking to me?

I will take it to the Hillary Clinton thread where it can be freely discussed.

Like I said----my point about Hillary and the TV show, was directed at the legal morass surrounding Trump, and not just about Hillary. So yes, you did bring it there---but, yes it is understandable why you could respond in the way you did. I inadvertently set it up for anyone to potentially hijack the thread.

As I stated earlier, and as the one who started this thread back when we never thought all this would happen, feel free to denigrate Hillary Clinton or whoever you like. But Donald Trump is the main subject.

I never deluded myself into thinking Donald trump cared about anyone but himself...I did however, delude myself into thinking the American public cared and would like their commander in chief to be mature and not an immature spoiled brat who just stomps around and attacks everyone and pouts when he does not get his way, though....but maybe the American public is more immature and infantile than ever, as well...We aren't getting any better, this country...IMO.

It will be a hard pill to swallow for me if this clown gets into the White house, but I'll manage it.

Yes, it was all Hillary's fault, just like everything else wrong with the world.

He will shy away from the issues and attack her person, and her husband because he can't win on issues.

    Meanwhile....

The NewYoker is reporting that if Trump's over $68,000 payment to the Seven Arrows Investment and Development corporation to seek business opportunities in Cuba had been discovered earlier, he could have received 10 years in prison. However as the statue of limitations has run out he can't be prosecuted for his illegal activities.

Something is seriously wrong with our tax code when someone as rich as Trump could have potentially avoided personal income taxes for 18 goddamn years. When poor people lose money it's tough shit; when the wealthy lose money it's not so bad.

Yes, Trump used loop holes only available to the wealthy to avoid paying taxes, something the rest of us can't do.

He claims he's worth billions, yet he contributes little or nothing to our social programs and expenses, that's up to the little guy.

The Clintons pulled in $10.6 million in 2015. Their tax return showed that they paid $3.24 million in federal income taxes.

This leaves them with $7.36 million for the year. So yes they do pay lots and lots of taxes, and still have a lot of money left over.

    Write-off on real estate taxes.

    End it. or cap it.

Would love to see rich, blue state liberals loose this massive tax write off.

That is not an excuse for Mr. Trump to have broken the law....

School taxes here are ridiciuous. Why do I have to pay them? I have no one going to school here...but if i did not, I would be sitting in jail...but mr. Trump ...well, that is a different story. Law does not apply to him, I guess.

The norm...How can I cheat and get away with all kinds of shit and even become President...while honest people out there are out there just struggling to survive.

  17. The bigger issue is which candidate will work hard to close these loopholes and the unfortunate answer is neither of them will.

The IRS is run by the government, if there was anything done illegally it would have already been headline news, Trump did not write the tax rules and laws..

That was not my point, Orison. I know he didn't write the laws, ...I am not blaming him for the laws in place....but he committed tax FRAUD, and got away with it.
I should love him for that?
